Tastefull double story 2 bedroom appartment/house

Very nice and stylish apartement. The host Eric was friendly and helpful. He rented out his bike to us for a small amount. The apartement is nicely furnished with everything you need. Small balcony where you can enjoy the morning coffee or a glass of wine. Quiet area and friendly neighbours. Bakery and small cafe nearby, and short distance to lovely cycleareas in the nationalpark or around a small lake. 7 minutes walk to the bus to Haarlem (if you don't have a bike), where you can get on a train to Amsterdam and the rest of the Netherlands.

There are steep staircases between the floors. No problem for us, but if you are old or have small children this may be a problem.

The apartment is big and nice, enjoyed our time there. Eric was very helpful and met us on arrival. Would love to come back to Harlem!

The communication with Eric was great! He is very interested to make his guests feel at home. Also the neighborhood is calm and familiy-friendly. You can feel as if you were Dutch :) The location is perfect to start bike tours, e.g. to the Zuid Kennemerland Nationalpark or to Bloemendaal an Zee. We also had the possibility to store our own bikes. The kitchen is well equipped although there’s no oven or microwave. The dining and living rooms are definitely very tasteful and cosy. The same applies for the master bedroom. Moreover there’s access to Netflix and other streaming platforms.

There‘s only one toilet in a tiny room downstairs, the other bathroom on the same floor as the sleeping rooms was also not very comfortable. The balcony seems bigger on the pictures, you cannot sit with two persons nor eat outside. The two stairs are very steep and in our opinion not suitable for small children or elder people.
