After moving to the ground-floor residence, the owners entrusted this charming canal apartment to ‘Betterstays’ for a wonderful stay in the city centre. Immerse yourself in a space designed for relaxation, featuring a well-equipped kitchen, a stylish bathroom with a bathtub and shower, and a cosy living room with a balcony offering picturesque canal views.
The Space:
Enjoy the ultimate luxury during your stay in this charming apartment in Haarlem, equipped with all the amenities for convenience and relaxation. A cosy seating area with Wi-Fi and a Smart TV with many channels and a casting function. A luxurious designer kitchen with an induction hob, oven, microwave and dishwasher. A stylish bathroom with both a separate bathtub and a rainfall shower with a waterfall feature. A small balcony for a romantic summer evening with picturesque canal views.
Two inviting bedrooms with wardrobe space. One with a double bed and its own Smart TV. And a second bedroom with two single beds and an additional washbasin. Both a luxurious toilet inside the apartment and a second toilet in the hallway.
For an optimal stay we let our Host Sabine from Betterstays take care of the management professionally. She is happy to assist you during your stay in Haarlem and will mail you the necessary information before arrival.
Guest Access:
The apartment is located on the first floor, accessible via a historic staircase (no lift). We provide the key in a secure lockbox for an easy and independent check-in process. You will receive all the necessary information from us before your arrival.
The accommodation is exclusively for guests staying with their family. No permission is given for business use, parties, receiving guests, dates, meetings or visiting addresses.

The Neighborhood:
You will find yourself at an ideal starting point to explore Haarlem, discover the charm of our neighborhood, located close to the heart of the bustling city center. Centrally located along a picturesque canal, our area is a perfect blend of historic charm and modern convenience. Supermarket, shopping streets, boutiques, restaurants, Frans Hals and Teylers museums, Stadsbos de Hout and Hertenkamp, the river Spaarne, everything within walking distance. Many wonderful restaurants within a stone's throw distance and on a 20 meters walk you will find Blend-Haarlem with All day breakfast & lunch. Just around the corner you will find yourself in the Kleine Houtstraat which has been elected several times as the nicest shopping street of the Netherlands. With 20 minutes by car you can go to Strand Zandvoort. Or with 30 minutes to Amsterdam, the Zaanse Schans or the world famous Keukenhof.
Getting Around:
The walk from Haarlem Station to our apartment takes approximately 15 minutes. Additionally, for those preferring public transportation, the nearest bus stop (at a 3 minute walking distance) is "Turfmarkt", providing an alternative and convenient option.
Paid parking is available approximately 100 meters from the apartment at the "De Kamp" Parking Garage.Free parking is possible from a 15-minute walk away.

We stayed here during tulip season and were pleased with the apartment. Sitting on the balcony with a drink after a day of sightseeing was a delight. The apartment is bright and had everything we needed for our stay.The location was great and lots of restaurants near by to enjoy. The grocery store is right down the street so it was easy to stock up when we got there.Great shower and a decent hairdryer were a plus. Sabine answered all our questions and responded back quickly.

Not as polished and luxurious as in the listing. Decent apartment with several good benefits such as a 1.25 sq meter balcony ( the best feature), nice shower and kitchen set up. Living room was also good but the apartment generally seemed a little run down and not worth the price that was asked.

I almost hate to share how perfect this apartment is in Haarlem! It really doesn’t get better than this when traveling abroad for a month. From the moment I arrived I felt at home. Owners Monique & Kees couldn’t have been more responsive & helpful getting me settled. Any questions I had were immediately answered. The owners even purchased a hair dryer & new linens for my extended stay. I didn’t have to worry about anything. Loved having them downstairs, since I was traveling alone. The apartment is extremely comfortable & quiet. Great kitchen! I enjoyed opening the balcony doors on mornings/evenings when it was pleasant to enjoy the canal view. Nice to be able to adjust the apartment temperature to my liking with my own control also. The beds are extremely comfortable & the master had a very large built in closet to store my clothes. I returned many evenings well into the morning after helping with my new grandson & never felt unsafe on my 6 minute walk back alone. The apartment is a short walk to pretty much everything you need: groceries, bakeries, take-out, a bus stop, shopping, and some very nice restaurants. Prakm serves true “Dutch” food, & we enjoyed a lovely evening there. The owner is delightful & food/ atmosphere perfect. Mica Coffee Bar & Blend are great for breakfast & lunch. The Saturday Grote Market is a short walk away & not to be missed. This is truly a home away from home. I even mastered the Dutch staircase to the apartment by the end of my trip!
