Guesthouse Suisen

Without question the absolute highlight of this stay was our fabulous host. We’ve met many wonderful people along our Henro, but Kyoko is without question the kindest, most helpful and hardest working of everyone. The room was small, but comfortable. There was a single, Western style bed as well as a single floor futon. Once we figured out our space (including sliding our backpacks under the bed) we were more than comfortable. Kyoko somehow managed to arrange hot baths for all the Henro staying with her, and will provide light, tasty meals to any pilgrims who stay with her. She also did laundry for free, and offered to transfer our bags into Kochi City for free. Considering what we’ve paid for meals and the occasional bag transfer on this trip these kindnesses were more than appreciated. The shower was clean and there was plenty of hot water, and wifi is excellent. There is a Lawson a few steps away so if you’re so inclined you can get inexpensive take away food there

If you’re looking to eat at a restaurant the nearest options are about a 15 minute walk away. This is not a problem for us, but for some people that may be a problem. But it’s worth noting that Kyoko offered to drive us to and from the izakaya she reserved for us. We declined, but we’re sure she’d do the same for anyone.

Good location Near convenience store

Super endroit. J’ai été très bien accueillie et plusieurs services m'ont été proposés et offerts. Dîner, petit dejeuner, machine à laver et envoi de mon gros sac au logement suivant. J’ai adoré rester à cet endroit et je vous le recommande vivement!
