Very comfortable stay super close to the ocean :-)

Great location, few minutes walk from the beach. Very comfortable little house. Spotlessly clean. Well-equipped kichen with everything brand new. Nicely decorated and cosy. Great shower. Contrary to the information on the site, we were provided with bedsheets for free. A huge plus! The owner very responsive and helpful. We had a small problem and it was fixed within 15 min. Really, all you need for a comfortable stay.

It would have been nice to have a vacuum cleaner to be able to clean efficiently during the stay. There is only a broom. But of course, it was a minor nuissance.

Great stopover before returning home after visiting France for 3 months

Warm welcome and friendly hosts. Very limited English spoken but Google translate very useful so not a problem. Spotlessly clean and lovely shower. Nice decking area and a charcoal bbq provided although we didn't use it because of the time of year we were there. No kettle, as other reviewers have mentioned, but that is normal for France. Easy to heat water on the gas hob and a coffee maker is provided. Glasses, crockery, saucepans etc more than adequate. Basic cleaning stuff provided eg washing up liquid, kitchen and bathroom cleaner and loo paper. A lot more than some self catering facilities provide. It seemed to us that most of the caravans were owned by French people who were there for the weekend we arrived. We were the only UK people on site and were made welcome. Brilliant location. A 5 minute walk from the beach and at the weekend a local bar and restaurant which we weren't aware of so was an added bonus. A 6 minute drive from the ferry at Cherbourg. Perfect for a stopover and would certainly stay here again if getting the ferry from Cherbourg. Supermarker a 5 minute drive away and very convenient for visiting the coast and historical sites such as St Mere Eglise. There is a spa on site, which we weren't aware of. It was closed and being refurbished while we were there because it was the end of the season. There is an indoor swimming pool within walking distance lthough we didn't use it.

The main holiday period closes on 31 August so the bar etc is closed from that date. We were there in September so facilities were limited. We were aware of that so it wasn't an issue for us.

Nice little camp, easy access with bikes to Cite de la Mer. The beach is close, but very windy.

I liked the calm in the camp, but also the karaoke night on Wednsday. the Cite de la Mer is easily accessible with bikes or car.

They sell the mobile home without the sheets, we luckily had sleeping bags with us.

Good but bad financal service. I LOST €400-,

Friendly staff

I made a reservation and they kept €395,- on my creditcard on hold. I also paid at the location (€405) because they told me that the credit card was just a reservation. This was August and I still don't have my money back. I wrote to Booking.com and they told me that everything was arranged, but no! I PAID DOUBLE! I contacted Booking.com again, but apparently they dont care anymore. The camping doesn't read their emails either.... so what's the next step? This is a very bad action from both the camping and Booking.com. I have been a customer for more than 10 years and I have made more than 120 bookings with them.... you'd expect a bit more service...

Nice simple family holiday

Thus is a nice Friendly french family campsite with helpful staff/ owners . Its a mixture if mobile motorhomes and campers, The facilities where good and clean toikets kept spotless, Laundry facilities limited but ok, good clean area fir fush washing. Nice family bar which locals use aswell good prices simple hot food on sale. Very close to a good clean beach woth safe bathing for families as it within a large sheltrred break water. Felt secure at all times Mobile home are a bit dated snd in need of modernisation everything worked and was clean but attention to deal was lacking. No bedding purchased separately or bring own. Good for families with children. Half the price of the uk

the campsite was clean,. The staff were more than helpful. The atmosphere of the place was great. Everyone there had a smile on thier faces,. Very close to the beach, . Lots of activity's for young and old.

I was very happy there. I don't have any negative remarks, the fact that i was alone thier, did not matter, i was made to feel like a part of the family !!

Pas grand chose .

Le bruit du bar le vendredi et samedi jusqu'à trois heures . Les mobil home mal entretenus et le mobilier de jardin aussi . Plage moche avec vue sur usine et port de fret. Plutot a réserver pour des travailleurs.

Très beau! Au pied de la plage ! Personnelle très gentil, et très accueillant !!

Nous avons apprécié le séjour ! Étant venu avec un bébé, l’établissement nous a même proposé un lit pour lui, chose que nous n’avons pas partout ! Mobil home, simple mais efficace ! Salle de bain dans chaque chambre, cuisine équipé et complète, télé, et le restaurant du camping était très bon !!

Le seul soucis que nous avons eu, sont les matelas où nous les avons trouver assez dur, mais nous avons un matelas très épais et mou chez nous donc cela dois jouer aussi, en tous cas chouette séjour !!

Dobrý poměr cena / výkon. Ubytování má drobné vady na kráse, ale celkově stojí za to.

Ubytování a vybavení bylo velmi dobré. Byla zde pračka, myčka, mikrovlnka, sporák, trouba, kávovar... Prostě plně vybavená kuchyně. Dokonce byl i běžecký pás. Personál byl moc milý.

Je vidět, že objekt už je starší a není mu věnována dostatečná údržba. Drobné nedostatky byly vidět skoro na každém kroku. Vypadávající klika, rozpadající se šuplík, opačné otevírání vodovodních kohoutků, absence sifonu u dřezu, vrzající dveře, zadrhávající otevírání vstupních dveří.

Schöner interessanter Aufenthalt

Nähe zum Strand, Nähe zur Stadt, waren mit dem Rad in beide Richtungen unterwegs, schöne kleine Orte auch in den nahegelegenen Bergen, Hafen von cherbourg und cite de la Meer sehr zu empfehlen, ordentliches mobilheimen. Personal auf dem Platz sehr freundlich

Personnel très gentil et arrangeant. J'avais oublié les draps et pour 15€ j'ai pu en louer directement au camping. La localisation du camping est très chouette.

J'étais très déçu par l'absence de rideau occultant dans la chambre. Un simple rideau ne suffisait pas.. il faisait jours dès 6h
