About this cottage rental

Quietly and conveniently placed near the RN13. This cottage allows many walks and promotes access to many forms of tourism: Day beaches-Constructions Vauban-Mont St Michel and many other places to visit.
Recreation is very varied: sea, beaches all directions, fishing, hiking, hunting, hiking, restaurants, cinemas, museums. Note: City of the Sea and visit a submarine.
A 5 minutes from a shopping center that includes 57 stores and 10 minutes from Cherbourg and its railway station. Car rental available.
The cottage has six beds + a sleeping child: two beds of 90cm, a bed of 140cm and a cot, a sofa bed 140cm in the lounge. It has a living-room television to the floor with a double bed, a bedroom with two single beds and a bedroom with a double bed and a crib, a kitchen ( including television) with room and bay window facing south opening onto a garden of 1000 m2, bathroom, washing machine, dishwasher, garden furniture and barbecue. Table tennis and volleyball net. Central heating.
The set is part of a campaign by farm away from traffic.
Our cottage is situated in the English Channel, in the peninsula of the Cotentin. An ideal location for easy access to all points of the department. The proximity to the RN13 adds to the convenience of car travel but renting is far enough to ensure the peace and security of the country.
It is a country made of wood, walking paths and crossed by many rivers.
The nearest beaches are 15 minutes away. These are sandy beaches which exposure is varied. There always has at least one out of the wind.
In addition to known tourist attractions (the landing beaches, Vauban fortifications, Tatihou Island, Mont St Michel), the Cotentin peninsula offers more than sixty tourist destinations within thirty-five miles of our house.
We offer on-site documentation and support tourism.

The gite was beautiful. There was an enormous fenced garden which our dog enjoyed. Danielle was helpful, knowledgeable, and so very kind. She supported us in our interests and gave us some of her lovely homemade jam.

The facilities were all really good, with the exception that we could have done with a bit more hanging space for our clothes. Otherwise, there was everything you would need for a great holiday.

The owners are lovely, they were extremely helpful, especially when the car broke down!
The property is down a very quiet road, making it a peaceful spot, yet also close to the main route for visiting other areas, very handy!
Well furnished, with facilities for my 1½ year old, such as bath and highchair, although I would say its more for 4 than for 6 people as the 3rd bed is a futon in the living area, that didnt affect our stay in anyway but worth mentioning for larger parties. They allowed us to bring 4 dogs which was very kind, the local walks are lovely and straight out of the front door.
Overall we had a wonderful time, the hosts are accessible and will help with any questions and information, they are very welcoming and that is much appreciated. Should we stay in this area again I hope that they would accept us, there is so much to see and 2 weeks went by too quickly!
