Molos Apartments

The Apartment is in an excellent location. It’s genuinely the most well located property in Loutro

Nothing, the property was stunning

I’ve been to Loutro a couple of times and decided to stay at Molos Apartments I had an upper floor apartment with a spacious balcony. There was a back entrance onto the footpath to Phoenix which I took advantage of, it’s a half hour walk accords the mountains to a lovely rustic quiet beach either a taverna, with the option to get a taxi boat back to Loutro if you don’t fancy the walk back The room was lovely with a Nespresso coffee machine, a roomy walk on shower and comfy large bed and a glass balcony They also had a mini fridge outside reception selling home made desserts, for €3/€4 euro I had the tiramisu and it was delicious A perfect 2 night stay

The location, the sea view from the balcony, the bed and the AC were great.

The hotel is poorly managed. Maria was kind, but often not there, and the rest of the staff was unkind or outright rude. Housekeeping happened at random times, sometimes as late as 5:30 in the afternoon, when we wanted to shower and get ready for the evening after a day of hiking or at the beach. It was chaotic, and the cleaning staff were constantly unfriendly, sometimes even hostile. We tried to order breakfast every day. Of six days only once did we actually get it, the other days there was always some excuse. Fortunately the hotel next door served wonderful breakfast with friendly staff. The building itself is clean but the path leading to the stairs is strangely surrounded by trash. When we checked out the man in the reception was yelling angrily on the phone and after listening to him shouting a few minutes we handed him our room key and he said thanks without a smile or even looking at us and then we left. We will be back in Loutro but not at Molos apartments. A flawed and overpriced hotel. But Loutro is amazing, a beautiful gem, and we didn’t let the constant troubles at the hotel ruin our holiday.
