Amica Guesthouse

We were provided with the basic facilities, shower gel, shampoo, clean towels and tea and coffee. Our room was clean and it was a convenient walk into town, although please leave yourself 30-40 minutes to walk into the city centre. Overall, it was very good value!

The road was slightly noisy, although we were provided with headphones which was a nice touch. A couple of things were broken such as somewhere to hang your towel and the suitcase stand. I also had a cold shower at 6.30am this morning as I think the boiler must be on a timer.

I liked my brief stay, with easy to follow access instructions, it was a pleasant and clean room and bathroom and great shower. The bed was large and very comfortable. There was also a shared kitchen available for use with plates, utensils and washing machines. There are shops, take away food places and a bar very nearby.

Belfast is quite a spread-out city and the Guesthouse is quite a way from the centre. There are buses and obviously taxis but the walk into town is over forty minutes (the Ravenhill rugby ground is also thirty minutes on foot). Belfast is still a city split on sectarian lines and the guesthouse is firmly in a 'Loyalist' area which was friendly and safe enough but it is important to be mindful of local sensibilities.

Lovely clean property. Very comfortable bed and has everything you need.

It was handy and cheap for a night in Belfast

Think last guest must have smoked in the room or had bad body odour. It didn't smell great when I initially arrived and I had to leave the windows open to air it out. Room was lovely otherwise. Hand soap watered down in the bathroom. Hard to figure out the parking area in the dark. I should have inputted a different address to gps for around the back of the house instead of main road. I didn't understand that from the email. Nobody onsite to ask when I arrived about 9pm which is fine but nobody replied to my message asking what to do. I bumped into another resident who told me how to get to the Parking area
