Central Living Apartment Opera

The apartment is super central and perfectly located if you want to be in the city Centre, a balcony in the first district is a gem, owners did let us leave our stuff in the apartment before check in which was super helpful

It’s quite run down, perfect if you just want to sleep there but not really comfortable. The furniture was def a mix and match 😅 Washing was still hanging in the living room, cables were loose

We used this accommodation for an overnight stay in Vienna and a visit to the Konzerthaus, and for this it was excellent. The location was exactly what we needed, less than 10 minutes on foot from the venue and the neighbouhood felt safe late in the evening. You can even walk to the Main Railway Station if you do not have luggage and do not mind walking (ca. 30-40 minutes on foot). Although I was worried about street noise early in the evening, the night was quiet and we got a good night's sleep. Many dining options in the vicinity. Keys were easy to collect and the instructions for access were detailed and easy. There is a TV and wi-fi but we did not use either so cannot comment. Towels were provided, heating was adequate. There is a washing machine.

I would not recommend the apartment for longer stays, or for a family with children. The kitchen is very small and sparsely equipped, I cannot imagine making more than a cup of tea or heating up a ready-made meal. The apartment is not really furnished with shelves or cabinets for clothing. The lighting is poor and electrical outlets in the bedroom are old and did not look safe (although they worked), there is also some exposed wiring in the shower that surprised me (see photo).
