Our host was lovely and very accommodating and even got us a ride to the train station. We didn't have a car so we took advantage of the bus system and went on adventures. There is a bakery and a wee grocery. Great coffee. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

This apartment is a little gem - very clean, good size bedroom, kitchen/living-room combination very nicely appointed, functional small bathroom. And Marzia, the owner, is lovely. The neighborhood is very convenient to have a car (free parking) yet be very close to Siena (10 minute drive). The only "down" point is that there is a dog next door - kept indoors at night, but comes out between 7a and 8a and barks - not continuously, but when someone passes by; a bit annoying. Otherwise, this is a great option right near Siena!

Property exactly as advertised. Kitchen very well equipped. Apt very comfortable. Location is perfect for exploring Siena or the whole of Tuscany. Car is critical to really enjoy as bus service is very very limited and not friendly to use. Host was a 12/10. Marzia was available, helpful, warm and welcoming. She went above and beyond when we had some problems with bus system. We’d stay again next time in the area.

What a surprise to find such a gem in the heart of Italy. The apartment could not have been more perfect for us. There is such a homey feel and the owner was always friendly and eager to answer questions we had about the area. The apartment had everything we needed and more. We had a wonderful countryside vew from our bedroom window and the local bakery greeted us each morning with the delightful aroma of fresh baked pastries. It is very modern with wi fi, dishwasher and even a washing machine. Thank you so very much for sharing your home, we did not want to leave!

"If you have a car (renting GPS is a must for getting around Siena and the hill towns) for exploring the Siena and Tuscany area, this is an excellent location. Parking is available, and the apartment is situated to the west of Siena which allows for easy getaway for exploring the wine country and the hill towns. For exploring Siena, there is free parking near the soccer stadium just outside the old town walls. The apartment is nicely decorated, homey, clean, and safe. It is situated in a middle class Sienese neighborhood. There is an excellent and well stocked supermarket just a five minute drive to the small neighboring town of San Rocco di Pilli (Coop). The apartment has all utensils necessary for cooking, has its own hot water heater making hot water available upon demand (sometimes rare in Italy), and a full sized bedroom with normal sized bathroom with shower enclosure. The apartment is about a two -hundred foot walk from the parking lot, and the apartment is up a flight of about 15 stairs—if this is a problem. There is a wonderful bakery and a smaller neighborhood grocery within 200 feet of the apartment. The apartment is managed by a husband and wife, who live next door. We found the couple very helpful and nice. The wife is fluent in English and well versed on arts and history both of Siena and the surrounding hill towns. If you have a car, I would recommend this place highly. When we return to Tuscany, we will stay here again. A good choice allowing flexibility and independence, while also providing value for dollar spent."

Die Ausstattung der Wohnung war super, im Bad und Küche waren einige Ecken nicht ganz sauber. Das Objekt ist gemütlich eingerichtet, die Besitzerin ist sehr nett und war sehr bemüht. Sie hatte einen Plan der Umgebung mit Insider Tipps und ein Gastgeschenk auf den Tisch gelegt.

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in dieser Wohnung! Es war alles, was wir brauchten, vorhanden und die Gastgeberin war sehr nett. Um nach Siena zu kommen kann man mit dem Bus (10 min.) oder dem Auto fahren. Es gibt gegenüber direkt eine leckere Bäckerei und einen kleinen Supermarkt. Um Spaziergänge von der Wohnung aus zu machen eignet sich die Gegend nicht so gut, da es kaum Gehwege gibt. Dafür muss man erst ein kleines Stück mit dem Auto fahren. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen!

Wir haben 10 Tage in der Ferienwohnung verbracht. Die Wohnung ist für zwei Personen ideal und mit allen nötigen Utensilien ausgestattet. Man fühlt sich in ihr wie bei Freunden zu Besuch. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit und spricht sehr gut Deutsch. Bei unserer Ankunft hat sie uns gleich nützliche Informationen zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung mitgegeben. Für die Grundversorgung gibt es in ca. 50 m einen kleinen Lebensmittelladen, eine Bar sowie eine Konditorei. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einer ruhigen Wohngegend. Gut erreichbar sind Siena (ca. 5 Km) sowie zahlreiche kleinere mittelalterliche Städte in der Umgebung.

In occasione di una fuga romantica per Capodanno abbiamo scelto questo appartamento a 10 min da Siena. Siamo stati accolti gentilmente dalla Sig. Marzia e per darci il benvenuto ci ha fatto trovare dell'ottimo vin santo e un panettone. Appartamento ben arredato, preparato per ogni minima necessità, pulito e confortevole. A pochi passi si può trovare una buona pasticceria che consiglio per le buone paste appena sfornate! Siamo stati veramente bene e ci sentivamo come a casa.

Appartement idéalement situé pour visiter la Toscane. Quartier calme, quelques boutiques toutes proches pour le petit déj. ou le repas du soir. Sienne est à quelques kilomètres. Marzia est accueillante et de bons conseils. Nos 2 garçons ( 5 et 8 ans ) considèrent ce logement comme l'une des meilleures étapes de nos vacances !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans l'appartement de Marzia qui nous a très gentiment accueillis et qui nous a indiqué les nombreux sites intéressants à Sienne et aux environs. L'appartement est très bien équipé, conforme à la description. Il n"est pas loin de Sienne (5 minutes en voiture) où il est possible de se garer gratuitement près du centre historique. C'est donc une excellente adresse tant par sa situation que par la qualité de l'accueil dispensé par Marzia.

La propriétaire était vraiment gentille et l'appartement était très propre et agréable. Il y avait tout ce qu'on peut espérer et bien plus. Situé dans une belle petite localité, nous avons pu y marcher très sécuritairement. A proximité, il y a une petite épicerie très diversifiée et également une très bonne pâtisserie. Il y a également une pizzeria, où l'on peut commander notre pizza et la rapporter. La gentillesse et la bonté de la propriétaire, ainsi que les commodités de l'appartement et de la localité font que je recommanderais grandement cet endroit à mes amis. Merci beaucoup pour ce beau séjour!!!!

Nous sommes parti en famille dans ce magnifique appartement proche de Sienne. La propriétaire est adorable et nous a beaucoup aidé à l'arrivée et même au cours du séjour. Nous avons par contre eu du bruit la nuit. Nous recommanderions cette location!
