Relaxing, home-away-from-home!

The apartment itself was perfectly outfitted and sizable for a family of 3!

The shower was a little moldy (normal at the seaside, but it needs a really deep clean). It also wasn’t clear that the ‘balcony’ is actually a public walkway, so it is not suited for privacy or a safe place for a child to play :(

Absolutely unique

You can’t go past the location right on the water. It is beautiful and unique, tucked away down narrow streets and walkways. The apartment was much more spacious than we expected and very nicely decorated. Everything is modern and works well. The bathroom is particularly generous with a double basin and large shower. A short walk away are several shops and restaurants to supply you for your visit.

The passage in front where you can sit leads to one of two access points to the popular rocks bathing areas. Very popular with local young people. The number of people walking by in peak summer season is very high, maybe every few minutes between 12 and 22hr. Most people are very nice and will either greet you politely or walk quietly past. Some groups of young men insist on talking loudly and playing their music as they go past your window. This is not the property’s fault it is just how it is in peak times. This of course leads to a security issue, which the property takes care to explain. I suppose it’s the trade-off for such a unique location. Consider it carefully before you book though, and don’t complain when you get there.

Le Paradis à Marseille

The view 😍 the location. Very quiet, secure and in 3 minutes by foot you reach the bus to Marseille - Vieux Port. Fully equipped apartment. Bed was very comfortable. I felt in love with this corner of Marseille and the rest of Marseille

Don't have big or a lot of luggage/baggage.. You can't reach the apartment by car and have to walk 3 minutes or more (whereever you can park your car 😁 I found a parkingplace 5 minutes away, lucky me). And you have to go down some steps

La vue

Presque tout. La mise en avant d’une terrasse avec vue alors que c’est un passage pour les locaux et les touristes, toutes les minutes un passage. Ces mêmes personnes ont une merveilleuse vue sur la chambre, le salon et la cuisine (soit tout le logement) Il faut donc vivre les volets fermés. Juste inadmissible. Aucun accueil un simple message avec des instructions. Si vous ne souhaitez pas vous déplacer ne le spécifiez par sur l’annonce.

Attention à la période de location : l'appartement se situe sur le sentier littoral, en période de forte affluence l'été, cela risque d'être gênant (passage devant le cabanon, nuisance sonore le soir, risque de vol...).

Séjour au Paradis dans Marseille

Ça ne fait que la troisième fois que nous venons. La vue est inoubliable, merveilleuse, splendide. Toutes les pièces ont fenêtre vue sur la mer et les îles. À toute heure du jour vous avez une vue différente. C’est un paradis.

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist einmalig schön, die Nähe zum Meer und die Aussicht. Die Verbindung zum Stadtzentrum ist gut. Die Unterkunft ist geräumig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin klappt einwandfrei.

Die Bettwäsche, Kopfkissen und Duvets riechen nicht frisch…. Die Küche dürfte in dieser Preislage mit Oel, Essig, Salz, Zucker, Abwaschmittel usw. in akzeptabler Qualität ausgestattet sein.

Zugesagte Stornierung bis jetzt noch nicht abgewickelt

Wir wurden vorab vom Eigentümer gebeten, uns mit einer Person zur Übergabe des Appartements in Verbindung zu setzten. Diese Person war sehr freundlich und wir vereinbarten einen Bezug ab 14.00. Als wir hinfahren wollten wurden wir über eine Straßensperrung wegen einem Fest bis 18.00 informiert und wir schauten uns noch eine andere Stadt an. Als wir um 19.00 ankamen war die Sperrung immer noch da und um 20.45 baten wir um Stornierung, weil wir das Appartement nicht beziehen konnten. Wir hätten 10 Minuten zu Fuß mit unserem Gepäck laufen müssen. Die Person sagte, dass müsse sie dem Eigentümer sagen. Dieser schrieb uns dann auch an und sagte uns die Stornierung zu und er würde sich am nächsten Tag mit Booking besprechen. Wir fuhren ab, freuten uns und bedankten uns über das Entgegenkommen. Am nächsten Tag ging die sehr unschöne Sache aber los. Wir wurden vom Eigentümer gefragt, ob wir nicht doch im Apartment gewesen wären, weil das Licht an war und die Fensterläden auf. Wir antworteten nein. Er schrieb uns dann an, dass wir ihm nicht gesagt hätten, dass wir mit dem Auto kommen würden, was wir aber der Kontaktperson mitgeteilt hatten. Dann meinte der Eigentümer, wir hätten uns vorher bei ihm nicht gemeldet, was wir so auch nicht bei Booking kennen. Wir hatten das Gefühl, dass der Eigentümer jetzt die Schuld bei uns sucht und deshalb haben wir die Kommunikation beendet und nur noch um eine Antwort gebeten, ob er uns das Geld zurückzahlt. Diese Antwort haben wir bis jetzt noch nicht bekommen. Wir waren und sind noch sehr enttäuscht, dass er uns die Stornierung zugesagt hat und uns das Geld bis jetzt immer noch nicht zurück gezahlt hat. Wir haben PayPal und Booking angeschrieben und um Klärung gebeten und hoffen nun, dass der Eigentümer uns das Geld doch noch zurückgibt und wir hier noch über ein gutes Ende berichten können.

Wonderful

La cabane est tellement idyllique, bien équipée et très paisible. Cinq grandes fenêtres donnent directement sur la mer Méditerranée qui est facilement accessible pour nager dans l'eau très propre. C'était comme un rêve d'être là.
