About this apartment rental
Nice apartment, independent access. Located halfway between the departure point of the famous Red Train of Bernina, and the Bagni Nuovi and Bagni Vecchi spas. Just 20 minutes from the ski slopes but away from traffic, a few meters from a poccolo pond with its lovely playground and the attached pizzeria, one kilometer from the enchanting castle of Grosio. The location is a strategic starting point to travel the famous three mythical; the most famous climbs of cycling: Mortirolo, Stelvio and Gavia.
The accommodation
The apartment is located on the first floor of a private house, with private entrance and possibility of parking space.
The house is still home to an old mill with stone millstones that you can still visit.
It consists of a double bedroom with a third bed, a second bedroom with two beds and a bright bathroom with a shower cabin. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, a dishwasher and a modern fridge.
The apartment is equipped with TV, independent heating.
The apartment is accessed via a lovely terrace which during the summer becomes a lovely sunny corner. On the ground floor available to guests there is a garden and a common courtyard. In the apartment it is forbidden to smoke, smokers can smoke in the outside terrace.

Grosotto was our "home base" for cycling trips into the mountains, amd the place and our hosts were perfect for that!
The apartment was spacious, clean and very well equipped for our needs. We could also use a bicycle storage room.
We enjoyed the warm welcome and care by Simona and her family, we received detailed information on "what to do" around Grosotto, expert advice regarding the cycling in the area and a home-made "extra energy" supply for our trips.
Overall, it was a very pleasant stay for us and we can highly recommend the place and the hosts.

Ci siamo trovate benissimo nell’alloggio di Simona. Ampio, indipendente, ben curato, l’alloggio dispone di tutti i comfort necessari. Simona è molto gentile e ci ha dato anche molti consigli sui posti per mangiare tipico. Molto accoglienti anche Anna e suo marito. Siamo state proprio bene. Consigliato!

La nostra vacanza in montagna è stata all'insegna del relax e della comodità. L'appartamento è fedele alla descrizione e al nostro arrivo lo abbiamo trovato ben pulito e profumato: è molto accogliente e ben curato, ma allo stesso tempo è semplice e lineare nel mobilio...decisamente adatto anche ad accogliere i più piccoli! La sua posizione è strategica perché consente di raggiungere, in breve tempo, parecchie località della Valtellina, che a nostro avviso meritano (Bormio, Tirano, Aprica, Livigno e le varie valli, con passeggiate annesse). Ci tengo inoltre a sottolineare che Simona e la sua famiglia sono stati veramente molto ospitali, accoglienti, disponibili e gentili anche nel darci consigli rispetto a dove mangiare o nel segnalarci eventi in zona.. dei padroni di casa sempre col sorriso, ma decisamente discreti, che ci hanno fatto sentire proprio di casa!! Grazie ancora!!! Passeremo ancora a trovarvi!!
