oompH Warsaw Downtown Apartments

The apartment is very well located, with multiple public transport options just a few minutes walk away, a grocery store right downstairs, and many restaurants around. The area felt quite safe as well. The building is old, but there were 2 working elevators.

Unfortunately the apartment is not well maintained. Many things were broken (drawer in the closet, drawer in the bathroom, coat hanger) and marks in all the walls (probably from previous guests). Some things were just not practical: the wifi would stop working for a few minutes multiple times a day, the bed frame was so tall that you couldn't open the window, there was no fan provided, the curtains in the living room were falling apart, etc... With a few improvements, this place could be much better.

Location, next to metro and tram stop. Small supermarket and pharmacy very close. Close to restaurants and coffee shops. We had lovely cakes and coffee at 2 different coffee shops close by. We were left a carton of milk, tea, coffee and cereals by the agent which was a lovely touch, never had that before. Shampoo and shower gel in bathroom. No noise from neighbouring apartments, felt like a residential block rather than a tourist block so quiet. As I was travelling with my son, he used the sofa bed and he said it was comfortable, I slept on double bed in bedroom which I found comfortable. Balcony was very small but better than no balcony. It was around a 40 minute walk to the old town which was fine for us, we always walk and found a little park along the way, we also found a fantastic pancake place along the way as well but public transport is very cheap for those who don’t want to or can’t walk that far. We often walked back later at night and didn’t feel intimidated. The photos are from 2 coffee shops close by, an Italian nearby and the pancake cafe on walking route to the old town We would stay here again

Nothing but as we stayed in April it was not a problem for us but I think to stay in the summer it would be hot as no air conditioning that we could see and it’s a busy road outside so maybe wouldn’t be able to have windows open at night due to traffic, not for safety reasons as our apartment was on the 7th floor

The location is perfect, many restaurants around, public transportation. The kitchen is equipped well with, nice coffee machine and available cereals option for breakfast. The laundry machine is also available to use.

I encountered bed bugs, both sleeping in bedroom and in living room. There were plenty of bites around all the body. The host was nice , and I didn’t want to write a feedback assuming that the issue will be fixed. But later host tried to convince that these bites are coming from spiders and flies, which doesn’t make any sense and made me feel that they don’t want to take responsibility. Everything else was nice though.
