the same food every morning...but good quality, good taste..all fresh... small isuues with wasps...but the staff found a briliand ideea..feed them with salami and ham...with enough food on the small cofee plates all wasp are busy to eat...

Amazing stay at this hotel—everything exceeded our expectations

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Ocean Beach Hotel for making our stay in Skala Potamia truly memorable! The room was exceptionally spacious, spotlessly clean, and housekeeping maintained it daily. We especially enjoyed the lovely terrace, which offered a lovely view of the entire Skala Potamia bay. The room was thoughtfully equipped with everything one might need for a comfortable holiday. Breakfast was excellent, with a special mention for the delicious sweets and authentic Greek honey — a real treat! The staff was incredibly kind and attentive. I’d like to express my sincere gratitude to the night shift lady at the Reception, who went above and beyond to help us when no stores were open after midnight by allowing us to purchase some items from the hotel restaurant — such a thoughtful gesture, considering it was one of us birthday. One of the most delightful surprises was the hotel pool — impeccably clean, with plenty of comfortable sunbeds. We even took a day off from sightseeing just to relax by the pool, and it turned out to be the best decision of our trip. It's clear that the hotel is run with great care and taste by the owner and the staff. From the design to the amenities, every detail reflects a strong commitment to guest satisfaction. The welcome dessert upon check-in and the thoughtful gift at departure were lovely touches that made us feel truly welcomed. We wholeheartedly recommend Ocean Beach Hotel to anyone visiting Thassos — you won’t be disappointed!

This is, of course, not the hotel's fault, but it was quite difficult to enjoy breakfast on the terrace of the restaurant or by the pool due to the presence of wasps. While this is a common issue in many places during the summer, it unfortunately made it impossible for us to have breakfast on the restaurant's terrace—we had to do it indoors instead.

It was all better than anything we had expected - the room was big and it had a very nice balcony which actually turned out to be a little garden with direct way to the parking. The bathroom had all amenities and was big with a lovely shower. The breakfast was also just perfect and offered a great variety of foods.

The room on the upper floor was really spacious, with sea view, excellent big balcony, the bed was really comfy, cleaning was done every day (change sheets, towels, garbage bags and clean the room). The view was perfect on the sea side, the balcony was large with 2 seats and a table, excellent AC. Staff was PERFECT, reallly involved and helpful, really nice, also they gave us gifts on check out! Would for sure come back again and would rate the property 10 out of 10 ! We loved staying at Ocean Beach !!

Excellent stay in Thasos

We enjoyed our stay very much! The room was very nice, spacious, clean, with a wonderful view to the garden and the sea. You also have parking slots in the olive garden and you are very near to the beach and the promenade, where you can find a lot of restaurants and taverns. It was equipped with everything you need, fridge, kettle, slippers, as well as for the bathroom. The room was designed with marble (as marble is extracted from there), the bed was big and comfortable. The bathroom is opened (so you could see the person who was having a shower), you only have sliding doors to the toilet, but this was not a problem for us, as a couple. The breakfast is very good and variate, we discovered new things every morning and the outside breakfast area is near the pool, which is really nice The staff is very friendly, helpful and pays attention to your needs, providing you with everything you need/request. They also have personnel who speaks Romanian. We definitely recommend this hotel and if we came back to Thasos we will definitely choose it again. Ευχαριστώ πολύ!

real 4star hotel

Great location, 5 min walk to the beach, good breakfast(not many variations, but tasty). Room cleaned every single day(new towels, beds and room made etc), which was a gr8 surprise during these times when every hotel hides behind these so called "covid regulations". nice pool, very friendly staff, ready to help at any moment. overall, it was a pleasant stay, with good value for money

it's not a big deal, but somehow the "open" bathroom is not my thing :)

Nice experience

The location and the facilities are great. The hotel is very close to the beach but at the same time is in a quiet area. The garden is beautiful and the staff is very nice. We had a room with garden and the lack of the sea view was compensated by the acceptable temperature inside (in a period with high temperatures). The size of the room and of the bathroom is a plus and we really loved our round big bed.

The room isn't quite what you expect from a 4-star hotel, is more like a 3+ star hotel. The wifi has a bad connection.

Everything was at the highest level, the hotel is looking really nice and it's location is good (5min away from the Golden Beach - a very beautiful one, BTW) , the rooms are very clean and spacious, breakfast was delicious and the staff is friendly.

Pool closing at 7pm, but that's not so upseting given the fact that the beach is 5 min away.

The accommodation is close to the beach, the rooms are spacious and welcoming. I benefited from a room overlooking the sea but also the olive grove. Breakfast is varied and tasty. The staff is very kind and welcoming, always at your disposal to help you.

The internet was going pretty badly, but that's a general problem on the island.
