Marias Sea House

Maria’s Sea House is perfectly positioned and well equipped for the perfect few days in Symi. Really exceptional!!!

The stairs to the upper level require some dexterity particularly after a few drinks on the terrace.

Beautiful view over to the harbour. Restaurant & coffee shops in walking distance.

There was a smell in the living room area Bought scented candles and an air freshener. Once the windows were opened regularly it wasn’t as bad.

Ideal location right on the harbour side and on the edge of town. I recommend getting the Sebeco ferry as this lands within yards of the front door. The others land a 10-15 minute walk away. The apartment is exceptionally well equipped and the patio area is delightful and a wonderful place to watch the world go by.

As mentioned by others the stairs could cause a problem for people with limited mobility, but us oldies managed it .. just.

Location is literally on the sea, walking distance to the centre and no stairs at all to climb. House was clean and tidy, with all kinds of equipment provided (except for toiletries). Wifi and smart TV were big pluses Warm water and water pressure were great.

The house is managed by a company located in Rhodes. We were greeted by one grumpy guy in Symi who just walked us to the house and made us feel like he was forced to be there. Not a single question about our stay nor info about the place and what to visit. It is definately value for money, but be prepared that it is like an airbnb without a host available. Also, the matresses could have been more comfortable and there could have been a selection of pillows. We ended up using the couch pillows because the ones provided were TOO high to sleep.
