Totally charming, well kept, and on an unbelievable site. It is 1500s beams and beautiful buildings and comfy beds mixed with a gorgeous site and delicious food.

Saltmarsh Farmhouse was an absolute gem and the perfect place to recharge during my solo late birthday celebration. I loved everything about my stay…the cozy room, the beautiful gardens, the peaceful view of the garden, and the delicious breakfast each morning. The location could not be better, especially being so close to Seven Sisters Country Park. It made it easy to enjoy the most beautiful walks and fully take in the surrounding landscape. The whole stay felt calm, restorative, and special. I left feeling refreshed and grateful to have found such a lovely place. Saltmarsh Farmhouse is truly a hidden treasure, and I would absolutely love to return.

The location is great for walking. The bed was comfortable. The team were fabulously friendly. The breakfast was nice.

Our room (in the eaves) is above the kitchen. It was very noisy for most of the day into late evening with kitchen prep and noise. Also, the room was so hot even with the radiator off and a small window open. It constantly smelt of food. The food was nice but not the constant smell of cooking. We wanted a relaxing night away but due to an event being hosted - it was the complete opposite. We felt that the room shouldn’t have been offered given the noise from the kitchen and guests of the event. A really disappointing experience and complete waste of money - not at all the experience that was sold.
