Great Location

Great apartment by the harbor. There are so many nice things to say about this apartment. The building has an elevator. When you open the door you see a bright, nicely furnished apartment, with a great view of the harbor. The harbor facing wall is all glass French doors with a balcony outside. The couch is very comfortable and the television is huge. The kitchen is well equipped, with high-end appliances, and Tefal cookware. The bathroom and master bedroom are also very nice and comfortable. We loved it here and would definitely stay again.

Superb apartment in a superb location

We had a great week. The property was exactly as described and we could't wish for a better location. Only one problem was we could not access the WiFi, which was a shame. We had everything we needed and very warm weather. Although free, the parking can be a problem but we hardly used our car. Granville is a wonderful place to visit with such a lot to see. Must make more of an effort to learn French! Armelle Giroult was very patient, thank you. (Sorry about leaving hard boiled eggs in the fridge!)

Scenic location in a busy small town fishing harbour.

The appartment appears to be recently refurbished and is in immaculate condition. Everything that you will need is in the appartment, and is scrupulously clean, light and airy. Modern wide screen TV, fast Wifi and new kitchen. It has a very cosy sitting room with wide picture windows overlooking the harbour. The only area of the appartment that is not in keeping with the rest is the bathroom which is small and basic. Has a small terrace overlooking the fishing harbour where the busy comings and goings of the town can be observed. A concentration of restaurants in this area means that you'll never go hungry. The appartment is directly above one of these. The main shopping streets are just a few minutes away, with a supermarket very close by. Granville is not a glitzy tourist town, but if you like a typically French atmosphere with friendly locals and an abundance of seafood fresh from the sea this place is ideal. The appartment is not spectacular, but is warm, clean and comfortable and is well recommended for a couple, add two kids and space may become a little tight.

Wir sind kurz vor 14.00h angekommen und wurden schon erwartet. Die Übergabe durch die freundliche Eigentümerin war kurz aber sehr umfassend; eine Flasche Cidre einbegriffen. Trotz des schlechten Wetters haben wir einen schönen Urlaub verbracht. Alles, Restaurants, Geschäfte, Markt, auch die Oberstadt usw, sind fussläufig gut erreichbar. Auch das Auschecken war unproblematisch; also ... immer wieder!! Kommunikation war schwierig, Eigentümerin spricht ausschließlich französisch; aber alles gut.

A 2 pas du centre - à pied - et des commodités alimentaires, fleuristes, traiteur, poissonnerie, fromagerie et habillement...oubliez la voiture. Et on passe sur les magnifiques promenades sur les bords de mer et sentiers du littoral. L'appartement est décoré avec beaucoup de soin et de goût. Nous avons passé une semaine au mois d’août et nous avons vraiment apprécié l’appartement! Il est proche de tous les commerces de la ville (- de 5 minutes à pieds) et la vue est vraiment belle! Proche aussi de toute les activités que l’on trouve dans la manche y compris le Mont St Michel (45 minutes en voiture) sans parler des îles ! Bref nous recommandons vivement!
