The gulls and the famous chime of Notre Dame du Cap Lihou will keep you company during your stay. The Place Cambernon, very lively with its restaurants, cafes, crêperies awaits you, a stone's throw from the house.
This house was totally destroyed during the 2nd World War and completely rebuilt with the ochre ashlar of the region, hence its somewhat modern character which contrasts with the medieval houses of the rest of the old town.
The entrances are totally independent.
A corridor and a staircase lead to the first floor apartment and the "1st + attic" duplex

In the basement:
- 1 cellar giving access to a small garden facing north and where you can cool off.

Private parking:
- It is in front of the house on the pavement that also belongs to the house (between the 2 small gardens), see photo.
- You can park in a herringbone if there are several small or medium-sized cars
- This parking lot is entirely dedicated to the tenants of the duplex.
This house is an old family home. It carries its years with pride.
I renovate it over time. The last restoration, carried out very recently in 2024, allowed the attic to be converted and the 1st floor to be renovated.
It is a house dear to my heart, rich in all the memories of my childhood
Take care of it and enjoy it well...
Some more information about the district and what to see:
- The site is listed, small streets, old stones, ramparts and sea views guaranteed.
- The Monaco of the North, as some like to call it, is also a city of art. There are many galleries as well as the Richard Anacreon Museum, and the Christian Dior Museum.
- In February, Granville also hosts its carnival, one of the oldest in France
- Music lovers will not be left out either, many festivals and concerts flourish in the upper town ("Mission on the Roc" Festival, organ and baroque music concerts)
The cathedral of Notre Dame Cap Lihou regularly hosts many concerts.
- For swimming, the casino of Granville and its beach (Plat Gousset beach) are also 15 minutes walk from the house.
- The small beach of the North is just behind the house 5 minutes walk, accessible by following the path of the ramparts to a stone staircase that descends there.
- For lovers of the sea and old rigging, the village of MARITE, the last French 3-masted Newfoundland, welcomes you and takes you for a walk in the bay of Mont Saint Michel or in the archipelago of the Chausey Islands.
- If you prefer stronger sailing sensations, you can also embark on the GRANVILLAISE, it is a Bisquine, much smaller than the MARITE, an old sailing fishing boat, symbol of the city, once used by fishermen to dredge the famous shells of the bay.
La GRANVILLAISE can also take you for a walk in the bay of Mont Saint Michel or in the Chausey Islands archipelago.
- Finally, to conclude, I can't resist the urge to talk to you about the tides.
They are very important in the region and vary according to their coefficients.
- At low tide, when the coefficient is high, the sea recedes for several kilometres, so amateur fishermen have a great time filling their bags with shells of all kinds.
- At high tide, when the wind is blowing and the coefficient is high, the sea is raging along the flat gusset promenade, hitting the causing huge sprays of water that can climb up to the windows of the thalassotherapy centre. A grandiose spectacle that I particularly like.PGJyPg
There you go, all I have to do is wish you a very good invigorating and iodized stay.
