Ocean Friendly Holiday Home

Great central location, about a nine-minute walk from the Tipsy Hammock entrance to the beach. There are quite a few steps on that route, although that’s fairly typical for this part of Playa del Inglés. The apartment itself was modern, clean and very well equipped, with a large fridge-freezer, proper oven, kettle, coffee maker, washing machine and ironing facilities. Our room overlooked the pool and the Wi-Fi worked well throughout. The rooftop nudist terrace was an unexpected bonus, particularly on days when it was too windy at the beach. Overall, it had pretty much everything we needed for a two-week stay.

We had requested an earlier check-in if possible, but the apartment was still being cleaned when we arrived, so we had to wait around half an hour for the keys. Not a major problem, but it would have been better if the room had been ready. The safe also had no batteries when we arrived. Once we added some it worked fine, although it is quite small and won’t take a laptop. Being fairly central also means there is some noise at night, but that is probably the trade-off for the location.
