Lovely stay. Fabulous host - very accommodating and welcoming on arrival. Perfect location situated near the shops and sea. Lovely breakfast in a beautiful location also. Had our room cleaned every day - thank you, this was a lovely touch!

OK if you are fit and can climb stairs

The location was good

We did not have help with the luggage to go up three stories. This is not for the faint at heart. The stairs are quite hard to climb. We were promised Help that never came. We had to ask cleaning lady to help with luggage on our arrival but no one there to help upon leaving

Disappointing.

Great location. Atmospheric building. Lovely host.

Room was on 3rd floor, up 6 flights of worn stone steps. TV not connected to satellite or aerial, so not usable. Tea/coffee facilities but no milk. Promised o/night storage facilities for baggage (to prevent lugging up stairs) not there, despite pre-arranging. Eventually had to walk 5 mins along cobbled streets in old town, to a separate building to keep bags in a not very secure location. Poorly located shower shelf has been removed, but brackets - at elbow level, remain. Painful....... This particular room, in a block of private apartments, was ok for an overnight stay, but no longer.

Lovely apartment

This place was a great location and easy to get to with an uber from the airport. Our flight was delayed and arrived quite late but thankfully the host was happy to meet us. The room was a good size and the bathroom was nice. The breakfast included was at a great restaurant 2 minutes walk away in the main square. The room was really clean and had everything we needed for our short stay.

Awesome location

The location is fantastic. Right next to the main street. Breakfast qas provided in a nearby restaurant, which has an awesome view and vibe. The owner of the property was very sweet. We stayed in the Opera room, and it was beautiful and spacious.

The apartment doesn't have a lift, and the apartment is on the 3rd floor, so if you are having heavy luggage, think about it. However, the owner was sweet to offer us a helping hand.

This apartment is simply fabulous. Everything is as we thought, high quality and just lovely. Kitchen is well equipped, rooms and bathroom are excellent. Location is perfect. 5 stars.

Excellent Stay in the Heart of the City

We had a wonderful stay! The room is in an excellent, central location-perfect for exploring the city-and was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Overall, we were very satisfied and would happily recommend it!

The only downsides were the lack of an elevator and the challenge of finding parking, which is understandable given the property’s central position.

Good location and great host

The room is in old town and close to everything you want to see in split. A short walk from the harbour as well. Breakfast is in a really nice location which is at a local restaurant 2 minutes away. Vedrana is a really good host and always available to help out.

If you have heavy or loads of luggage it is difficult as you have to go up 3 floors with no lift. Sunlight in the room is very limited. Netflix is temperamental. You have to keep reconnecting the tv to the wifi.

Lovely apartment 3rd floor, no lift

Breakfast in a nearby cafe was limited but ok. Tea was good. Made us a bacon sandwich to go when we had an early start excursion.

once we got situated the stay was wonderful

It was in a good location. we didn’t need our car for the 3 day stay.

We needed the help of staff to find parking. It was overwhelming after traveling all day. But she came to the location we illegally parked and helped us move to a free parking spot. Then she walked us to the location of our room. Thanks to her for the additional help!

it’s obviously not a hotel… it’s more kind a AirBnb.. and check out was 10am you have to run out of the room because another guest is already at the door waiting.

Excellent stay

Owner was super friendly and helpful. The location was excellent. The room was very spacious, clean and modern. There was a lot of wardrobe space and plenty of tea and coffee. It was peaceful and quiet with double glazing windows.

Pillows were a little hard.

My stay here was lovely. It is located in the heart of Diocletian’s palace and was in my opinion the best location for night life, shopping, food. My room and the bathroom was extremely clean. My host was very attentive and communicative. I loved staying here.

There was nothing I did not like. Although one does have to be okay with walking up to the third floor as there is no elevator/lift. It wasn’t an issue for me. LT

Very poor

property was clean and spacious

Very slippery stair case on the first floor of the building and all those stairs were missing protective black strip. I slipped on my back and bottom all the way from the top of the staircase and I got a hematoma as a result of this accident which ruined the rest of my vacation. The bed was very hard and pillows felt lumpy and very uncomfortable.

Excellent room, host and location

We loved staying here. The location is perfect. The room is spacious and has everything you need. The host is very welcoming- helping with transfers and holding our luggage for us.

We loved it but be aware there are lots of stairs- didn’t bother us but something to consider. It is located next to the national theatre and there are free concerts every night so it could be a little noisy if you want to go to bed earlier than 10:30pm

Good location but no good parking access

the location is good.

too many stairs to reach the apartment. you need to be lucky and find parking on an allowed street. you have to bring your luggage from said street to the apartment, this takes at least 7min each way.

Theatre of Dreams was a lovely Stay, located on the third floor of an old house right outside of the old town of split. If you do not fear the climb, and our lovely host did help us with our luggage, it is a great location to stay at. Vedrana, our lovely host was absolutely amazing and we owe her great thanks as she helped us to reunite with our Passports, which we managed to forget in our rooms after leaving in a hurry to catch our boat. She was very kind and willing to offer help and recommendations, which helped make our stay even better. Pros: - great location, less than 5min to walk into the old town - comfortable bed - good shower with strong water pressure - very generous breakfast included, at a restaurant 3min walk away - VERY sweet and amazing Host who organised our taxi and showed us the way to the apartment, so we didn’t have to search.

Nothing bad but something to be aware of: - it is on the 3rd floor with no elevator - the terrace faces towards the backside of a restaurant, so if you’re very sensitive regarding food smells… we’d recommend leaving the windows closed unless you’re sitting outside.
