Situated on the top floor of historic Broadmeadows House this light and airy family friendly let is accessed by an internal circular red sandstone staircase (with a climb of 62 steps this is perhaps not suitable for our less able guests!)The accommodation comprises of

Comfortable light sitting room with a triple aspect views across the wooded valley over The Duke of Buccleuch's country estate towards the historic & ghostly Newark Tower.
The Uplands has 2 beautifully furnished bedrooms - linen provided
The south bedroom has a double sleigh bed and the extra large north bedroom has 2 single antique brass beds.
Large bathroom with bath ans separate shower - towels provided

It is fairly private. The stairs are a bit of a hike, but worth it fornthe lovely views. The home was beautifully maintained and very comfortable

My husband and I, along with our son and daughter-in-law enjoyed our stay at Broadmeadows House. Dianne is highly knowledgeable about the entire area and extremely accommodating for your needs. We’d definitely return for another stay!

Really helpful hosts. House has an interesting history in a magnificent setting. Good for walkers, cyclists and those looking to explore the Borders towns.
