Met my expectations.

No real complaints. I knew where property was prior to arrival, and key was left for me as I arrived after 10 p.m.. Room was perfectly adequate. Nice touch with heated towel rail.

Brilliant value for money and I will definitely be staying again

Location was ideal for me, only a 10 minute walk to Foregate Train Station, and another 5 minutes walk and you are into the center of town. Lesley was so friendly and accommodating and the cooked breakfast was perfect. My room was spacious, clean and modern, including a tv that could access Youtube which I enjoyed. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and will be back.

The water pressure was a bit weak in the ensuite, however this was not really a problem in my opinion as I was still able to have a nice warm shower and wash my hair without issue.

Excellent Value of Money, Great Host

Very convenient location. Lesley is a superb host—always accessible and ready to help. Breakfast was served on time and was very good. Parking is usually available at St. George Cathedral. The room was cozy and clean. This is definitely a preferred choice, and I would gladly book again.

Well worth a stay

Breakfast courses served at appropriate time with the main freshly cooked to order. Warm toast too, choice of spreads. Cafeteria or fresh brew tea. Rooms clean. Check in/ out is very convenient and location ideal for exploring Worcester. Lesley was very helpful and gave a warm welcome.

Our stay suited our purpose of exploring the history of Worcester from a walkable location.

The host was very welcoming and gave useful information for restaurants and places to visit. She arranged free parking for us just along the road.

The B&B is on a very busy road but we heard no noise as our room was at the back of the property.

Great stay in a lovely city

Lesley was a Lovely host, friendly, helpful and accommodating, issues sorted out swiftly. Rooms spacious and nice decor. Really lovely breakfasts, full english or lighter options were available (Nice to have filter coffee). Location great for walking in the area, either to shops/restaurants in centre or parks near by. Buses also right on doorstep. We had a lovely few nights stay, exploring the area. Would stay again.

Home from Home

It has a lovely homely feel - I’d booked it as a place to stay whilst visiting my Mum in hospital. It was just what you needed after a stressful day. The host Lesley’s attention to detail was fab. She was a lovely friendly lady. Nothing was too much trouble. Tasty breakfast. She sorted out a parking permit for me. Free of charge. Despite being on the main road it was very quiet and I had two great nites of sleep . I had requested a room with a bath if possible and Lesley had reserved it for. All in All a great stay during a stressful time. It’s really close to attractions and shops and restaurants. You can easily walk everywhere.

Enjoyable. Worcester is a very nice City.

Lesley was very welcoming, and helpful. She made sure I was happy and comfortable. The property has been modernised and decorated to a very high standard. My room was great, as was the breakfast .

The shower could have done with better water pressure, but really nothing to complain about.

Very comfortable stay with lovely friendly host and a yummy breakfast!

Fabulous host, lovely breakfast provided, nice and quiet despite the property being near a road, very comfy bed, excellent bathroom with space for bathroom products, very near the centre of Worcester and very clean.

Parking is a bit problematic as there are mainly parking permit areas near the property. But you can get a parking permit if you ask or park for free at certain times and then move your car.

I liked the breakfast as it was nice and fresh and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. When we went into the dining room everything was ready on the table such as fresh orange juice on the table. It was very clean and the staff were friendly and we'll be definitely be back next year.

Great stay at the Shubbery Guest House

I really enjoyed staying at 'The Shubbery Guest House'. The room was a good size with good facilities. The shower was good and the bed comfortable. Lesley the host was very welcoming and had a great knowledge of the history of Worcester. Breakfast was very good. The location was about 15 minute walk (max) from the centre but with lots of paces to eat and drink nearby. I would definitely stay again.

Best breakfast ever! Loved the sausages especially 😋. Very comfortable bedroom with everything we needed. The location was perfect for us because a very easy walk into town so we didn't use our car at all during our stay. Friendly helpful lady there. Made us very welcome

Breakfast was very good indeed. Lovely home cooked fresh food. Plenty of options too if we asked for changes. Lots of extra little touches in our room, and the owner was very helpful and informative about the local area and facilities. The bed was comfortable and the room had space for all our stuff as well as plenty of sockets.

Great

Lesley is very nice and accommodating, she is ready to offer a variety of recommendations around Worcester or just share an interesting story. The property is only a 10-minute walk from the city centre and there is a small shop nearby for late-night snacks. I also liked that there is a small fridge and a microwave available to guests so I didn't have to eat out every night. Lesley is well experienced in dealing with dietary requirements so there were no issues with having vegan options for breakfast (I had a veggie sausage, tomatoes, beans, hash browns and toast). A nice touch was coffee which was brewed in a cafetiere rather than instant. Another small touch which I particularly enjoyed was that there is a desk and a big table mirror facing the window which meant I could lay out my make up on the table in front of me and have even lighting (in most hotels I have to hold my make up while I do in a tiny mirror in the bathroom). I would wholeheartedly recommend this place.

I had very slow internet until I realised there is a separate wifi extension on my (top) floor to which I should have connected. After I connected to the extension, the internet was fast and I had no issues

Exactly what I was looking for.

The host was friendly and welcoming and my room was very clean and comfortable. I had everything I needed and the Wifi worked great too. Plenty of places nearby to get food etc and the breakfast was really good. Will definitely stay again when I travel to Worcester for work in the future.

Friendly hostelry, close to town.

Great place just north of town. A set of pubs and eateries are within walking distance for evening meals including a wholly vegan eatery. Good friendly service at breakfast from our host. Enjoyable stay and will hope to return now we have found this spot.

Creaky bathroom door was unfortunate. Note that there is no lift if you are in rooms 5 or 6. The choice at breakfast was too big, no, seriously, you can be accommodated!

Lovely host at a comfortable property

Lesley is an outstanding host. Friendly, available, and accommodating but also respects guests' space and privacy. The room was comfortable, spacious, and clean. The full breakfast was delicious! Great location within easy walking of shops, pubs, and transportation.

Although a fan was provided and windows could be opened, the upstairs room was quite warm (no air conditioning) during my stay (high temp about 80-84F/27-28C
