About this apartment rental
The recent renovation of an old arcade has created holiday apartments, which are available for just a few days, a week or longer stays . Each two-room apartment is simply and tastefully decorated and sleeps from two to six adults or children. Two apartments are located on the groud floor level and two on the first floor. Each apartment (45 sqm) has a separate entry, and is composed of:
• bedroom with a double bed and a bunkbed
•bathroom with shower
•shared living room/kitchen area, with a sofà bed (double bed), kitchen table and six chairs, and fully equipped kitchen
•the kitchen has: four-burner gas storetop, electric oven, refrigerator, freezer, diches and glasses, silverware, cooking utensils, pots and pans, as well as an aluminium espresso maker
In the back, the apartments overlook a bicycle path near the river and part of the canal. In the front, the apartment face the courtyard of the farm. In the courtyard are a gazebo with wooden tables and chairs, smaller tables with umbrellas, as well as a swingset, oll of which are available for your use.There are also bicycles for both adults and children available, as well as a playground and kiddie pool for children. In addition, free car parking is available.

The main building of the farm is a fine example of the traditional farm house built in the area around the early 1900's.The farm is located in the Morenic hills of Mantua, immersed in the countryside of the Mincio park. The Mincio river is itself located only 600 meters from the house.
The farm is still a working farm. Production centers mainly around cereal corn, though we also produce excellent home made wine from our own grapes. We also have a small number of livestock, including hens, geese,goats and sheep.Interested guests are always welcome to explore the farm and visit our animals.
Beginning in 1997, we have opened our farm to guets who would like to explore the unique side of Italian life.The farm is centrally located, between Milan and Venice and only a few minutes from the famus Garda lake. At the same time, the farm is nestled in the tranquil rural countryside with its small villages, farms, and vineyards. While providing easy access to local cultural treasures such as the medieval towns of Mantova or Verona (of "Romeo and Juliet" fame) it is an ideal holiday retreat for nature lovers and those wanting to experience a different side of Italy. Whether by car or borrowing the provided bicycles, one can explore from Garda lake to Mantua and the countryside beyond

Habe das erste mal frische Feigen vom Baum gepflückt und gleich gegessen😍. Der Hund Birba ist uns ans Herz gewachsen. Wenn wir mit der Riga unterwegs waren, folgte er uns ein Weilchen. Die Wohnung verfügte über einen eigenen Tisch außen. Die Kinder hatten etwas Angst vor der Stabilität des Hochbettes, weshalb sie dann auf der Schlafcouch im Wohnzimmer geschlafen haben. Das Wasser in der Wohnung wird von einem Boiler erhitzt. D.h. Wenn man ca 5 Minuten duschen ist, wird das Wasser auf einmal für ungefähr 1 Minute kalt. An jedem Fenster befindet sich ein Fliegengitter. Aber irgendwie war ich trotzdem total verstochen🙈. Fernseher gibt es keinen. W-Lan hat (bis auf 1x) gut funktioniert. Die Küche war notdürftig mit Besteck für 6-8 Personen eingedeckt. Brettchen zum schneiden habe ich leider keines gefunden. Ein Gemüseschäler, Küchenmesser, Brotmesser, Nudelsieb,2 Schüsseln, 2 Töpfe und eine Pfanne sind vorhanden. Die Küche verfügt über einen Gasherd und Elektro-Ofen. Kühlschrank mit Eisfach ist auch in der Küche. Keine Spülmaschine.
Waschmaschine ist eine gemeinsame mit allen vorhanden. Pro Wäsche wird aber nochmals 3€ verlangt.
Es gibt 1 Planschbecken, welches ca 1m hoch ist und 3m Durchmesser hat. Dieses ist auch befüllt.
Parkplätze gibt es direkt auf dem Hof. Fahrräder kann man in nahezu fast jede Größe ausleihen.
Das Pony konnte man besuchen, wann man wollte. Es ist direkt auf dem Bauernhof. Im Stall. Ebenso wie ein Hase, 2 Hunde und ca. 2-3 Katzen. Den Hasen und das Pony durfte man auch mit Brot und Karotten (hatten wir übrig) füttern.
Ein gemeinsamer Grill ist auch vorhanden. Er funktioniert auch recht gut.
Bis zum nächsten kleinen Supermarkt in Volta Mantovana kann man auch mit dem Fahrrad fahren. Da sind auch ein paar Backwaren vorhanden. Sonst gibt es den nächsten zu empfehlenden Bäcker etwas weiter weg: „panificio pasticceria pasquali orlando“.
Wir haben ausprobiert:
Safari/Zoo.-> war nichts großartig besonderes. Bei der Safari laufen Bisons, Elche und eine Giraffe frei rum. Ansonsten sind die meisten Tiere hinter Barrikaden. Der Zoo ist ein normaler Zoo. Wobei da die Tiere oft wenig platz besitzen.
Jungle Adventure Kletterpark-> war das Highlight für unsere Kinder. Jedoch ist dies nix für den ganzen Tag. Man ist aber schnell mal 80€ los für 4 Personen. Wenn nicht sogar mehr. Wir haben dort 2 Routen gemacht. Zuerst den Anfänger (lila) danach den roten (Abenteuer). War sehr aufregend.
Ist auf dem Land und vieles weit weg.

Des hôtes agréables, un environnement propice au repos et aux ballades à pied ou en vélo ainsi que des villages ou villes méritant le détour. Les appartements sont confortables et disposent de tout le nécessaire pour un séjour agréable. Merci à Angelo et Camelia pour leur accueil, leurs conseils et les pâtisseries !.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit auf dem Bauernhof von Angelo. Die Kinder waren überglücklich, so viele Tiere in der Nähe zu haben: Hunde, Katzen, Kaninchen, Hühner und sogar ein Pony. Außerdem gab es einen Pool, Fahrräder zum Ausleihen und viele andere nette Kinder zum Spielen. Somit war der Aufenthalt auch für uns als Eltern sehr entspannt ;)
Die Apartments sind sehr gemütlich, hochwertig und mit viel Liebe gestaltet. Die ruhige Lage lädt zu abendlichen Spaziergängen ein und bis zum Gardasee sind es nur 20-30 Minuten Autofahrt. Es gibt sehr viel zu entdecken, daher kommen wir nächstes Jahr sicherlich noch einmal.
Am meisten werden wir Angelos selbstgemachten Wein und den Feigenbaum mit süßen Früchten vermissen, die man direkt vom Baum pflücken kann. Alles in allem eine absolute Empfehlung, besonders für Familien mit Kindern ein Paradies!

Wir haben bei Angelo und seiner Familie 10 entspannte und sehr familiäre Tage verbracht. Er war für jedes Problem und Anliegen für uns da. Die Wohnungen sind sehr sauber, gemütlich und geräumig, man sieht welche Mühe er sich gegeben hat. Die Lage ist ideal um verschiedene Ziele anzufahren, Läden sind in der Nähe und man kann auch mit dem Fahrrad die Gegend erkunden. Von uns eine klare Empfehlung !!
