We had no tv for the 4 days we booked. The manager told us it was the input, which it wasn’t, then ignored us every tim

It was a perfect location with a very short walk to the beach.

We wrote on our reservation that we had poor mobility and were never informed that the room was on the 2nd floor. We couldn’t carry our luggage up, so we just took stuff out in the car as we needed it.

We arrived for check-in at 7:00 PM and the apartment was completely trashed. It had not been cleaned at all. There was visible filth throughout the unit, including used underwear left on the bed, and the space was unhygienic, especially alarming since we were traveling with two children under the age of four. I immediately called the manager, Igor. Instead of showing any concern or remorse, his response was simply, “That’s weird.” When I expressed how upset we were, he hung up on me. After multiple attempts, my husband finally reached him, and around 9:00 PM, two people arrived to clean. They did an okay job, but it was clearly rushed and unprofessional. We had small children trying to sleep while strangers were scrambling to clean a filthy apartment. Later, we learned that the “professional emergency cleaning service” Igor claimed to send was actually his mother and younger brother. The next day, when we contacted Igor to request a refund for the first night due to the unsafe and unhygienic conditions, he ignored all calls and messages. When he finally responded, he accused us of “bombarding” him. His behavior was dismissive, hostile, and completely inappropriate. Beyond the cleaning issue, the apartment itself is run-down and neglected: paint chipping off the walls, broken blinds, disarray throughout, and blankets that clearly had not been washed after the previous guests. We couldn’t wait to leave and move on to the next part of our trip just to get away from this situation and this manager. Do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere. I strongly suggest reading the negative reviews carefully, as this appears to be a pattern. The manager’s responses to guests are aggressive and unprofessional. This stay was stressful, unsanitary, and absolutely not worth the money. Avoid this place.

Overall the property worked out very well for us.

The location was excellent (just steps from the beach). There were umbrellas, beach chairs and kids toys available to use at the beach.

Some of the beach chairs were broken and unusable and need to be replaced. The futon in the living room has a broken leg that needs to be repaired.

Better than last year and that’s impressive to say😎 Everything on point, consistently, and efficiently.

This is our Family’s 2nd trip down to this location in back to back years. We upgraded to the upstairs 1 bedroom apartment and my goodness, did it make a bigger impression than the studio. We had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation. Fully working kitchen, multiple A/C units, plentiful of seating, etc.

This is not even a complaint or something we disliked. We just think 1 suggestion could make everything amazing. Please ditch the window linens for solid black ones, that cover everything the windows offer. This would effectively and efficiently hold out more sunlight and help keep the apartment more cool during the heat of the day.

Overpowering air fresheners, bad mattress but great no frills location with excellent AC

Proximity to beach is pretty great! Very quiet although possibly because no one else was there. Check in instructions very easy. Didn’t use the courtyard but it was nice to have. Beach chairs and umbrella were a nice touch though both were broken. Sink/microwave/mini fridge and dinnerware were perfect mini kitchen additions for my needs. AC works well.

Sheets were dirty, possibly unchanged from the last guest, and are the poly blend that just sticks to your skin if you’re at all sweaty or damp. Air fresheners were absolutely overkill, like death by cinnamon when you walk in… too many for such a small space, seems like there’s a lingering smell it’s covering up. Bed very uncomfortable - thin, springy, and slouching in the middle.

Best beach stay we have ever had.

30 second walk to beach, stocked with anything you could think to need including beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, bbq and supplies, well stocked kitchen. Also offered a washer and dryer so we don’t have to bring home any dirty clothes. Location is safe and great for a family. Very clean, easy check in and check out.

Cozy and convenient

The location was wonderful! Literally a 30 second walk to the beach. I appreciated the foot wash station outside of the property for removing sand. I will definitely be recommending to family and friends.

The mattress was slightly uncomfortable and the shower took a while to drain, but those didn’t stop us from fully enjoying the place.

The apartment was completely uncleaned when we arrived, with dirty sheets and blankets strewn across the beds and dirty towels in the bathroom sink. The fridge had not been emptied, and to top it off the A/C unit was dirty (the insides were black) and very loud.

Great potential ruined by cockroaches and host silence

The apartment itself is genuinely nice – it's spacious, seemed well-equipped generally, and represents good value for money. The absolute best feature is its exceptional location, next to Hollywood Beach and is also convenient for exploring Miami - 30 to 60 minute commute.

Unfortunately, the positive aspects were completely overshadowed by a serious and unacceptable cockroach infestation during our 5-night stay. We encountered a total of five cockroaches inside the apartment. The first was found in the bathroom sink area near our cosmetics. Later, another one actually crawled on my girlfriend's leg while we were having dinner in the apartment. We found others over the following days. We also heard sounds suggesting other potential "guests" (possibly a lizard) in the living room area. We also were diligent about keeping both the doors and windows securely closed throughout our stay. We understand that pests can be an issue in warm climates, but finding this many inside a rental is not acceptable. What made the situation significantly worse was the complete lack of communication from the host. We reported the initial cockroach sighting immediately via the Booking.com messaging system, providing details and evidence. The host never once responded to our messages during the remainder of our stay. This silence was unprofessional and unhelpful, leaving us to deal with the escalating situation alone. Due to the host's silence, we had no choice but to escalate the matter to Booking.com customer service. After reviewing our evidence, Booking.com acknowledged the issues. While we greatly appreciate Booking.com stepping in, this whole experience significantly impacted the comfort and hygiene of our stay. This apartment has great potential due to its physical attributes and location. However, the significant pest control problem combined with a host who is completely unresponsive when serious issues arise, makes it impossible for us to recommend staying here. Until these critical issues (both pests and communication) are demonstrably fixed, future guests risk a similar stressful and unpleasant experience.

The two burner cooktop didnt work well, one burner ok, the oter one very liitle heat. The telephone did not work at all. We didnt want to use our cell phones as our Canadian provider charges a lot for calls in the US.

horrible! Bed bug bites all over my body.

we woke up after the first night with a couple bug bites on mine and my wife’s body. I thought they were mosquitoes from the evening before. we woke up after the second night with my wife with a couple more bites but I had bites all over my body, including my face and back of my neck. we went to work thinking again they must be mosquito bites. I told a coworker about them and he said they looked like they could be bed bug bites. I looked up bed bug bites and read about them. When we got back to the unit we were so tired from work we forgot to look then after watching TV I remembered and we started looking and we found what looked like small crumbs. I took a picture of it with a flash and zoomed in and it definitely is a bed bug. there are several of them on the bed. we are grossed out not mention I have bites all over my body of which I took pictures. we are packing up now at midnight and leaving this place immediately. I will reach out to Bookings.com tomorrow to discuss this with them. Art McOmber.
