The property is ideally situated between Chichester and the wonderful West Wittering beach. The cottage itself is located so as to give a sense of gentle isolation and the bonus of being able to open the back doors and step into the Orchard is exceptional.
There are no downsides from the point of view that it offers what it states. This is our second stay at the Grenadier cottage and it was equally as enjoyable as the first.

Nicely decorated, spacious, clean, well furnished, close to local amenities.
Foul smell in the upstairs bedrooms, not sure if the drains are blocked but its pretty pungent, also upstairs heating didn't work so felt chilly in the evenings. No welcome pack on arrival. Instructions on use of heating and information on local amenities such as supermarket, restaurants etc would have been helpful.
