Tranquility, peace and panoramic views which are arguably the best on the island...that's what Father Ted's provides. The property was basic but clean and very well equipped, with everything needed for a great self-catering stay. Communication with the hosts was fantastic. We had our best holiday yet at this villa and would love to return. Highly recommended!

Father Ted’s is the place to go if you’re looking for a restful holiday in clean, comfortable accommodation with stunning views, near to excellent family run Tavernas, in a quiet ‘untouristy’ location, with access to beautiful, unspoilt beaches (and you don’t mind a few interesting hairpin bends!). The island of Kefalonia is truly delightful with very friendly locals, amazing food, and wonderful scenery! The Paliki peninsular is very uncommercial dotted with delightful villages (although the roads are very rough and narrow there is little traffic to worry about). The owners, John and Lesley, were extremely helpful and their knowledge and experience of the Island was very reassuring! If you’re looking for something authentic and unspoilt then Paliki and Father Teds is for you! We hope to return one day (soon!).

We really enjoyed our stay at Fr Ted's. The property is very well equipped. It was spotlessly clean. The bed was really comfortable and we slept very well. The stand out feature is the magnifielcent view. The house is fairly remote which is ideal if you want a chilled out holiday. Petani beach which is a short drive away is lovely with a really good taverna to have lunch. We had a couple of nice meals in the local taverna which is about a 15 minute walk in the little village of Rifi.

What a wonderful little villa, tucked away in the hills overlooking Lixouri (& beyond). It's an adventure just driving up the hill - 9 hairpin bends - but the views just get better and better. Villa has everything you need and is obviously very well cared for. Patio is huge and has large table, comfortable chairs, bbq and by using the sail shades provided you can sit out there all day. So peaceful just listening to the crickets and occasional goat bells - the most relaxing holiday we have had in a long time! Car is necessary but also needed to explore this beautiful island - traffic appears to be mainly tourists in no hurry. Make sure to get off the main roads and see the lovely villages and stop at local tavernas for amazing lunches. Lesley and John were so helpful and even managed to work around our odd flights meaning we had a 16 day break - many thanks. Highly recommended.
