We had a wonderful stay at VerandaMK in the tiny village of Chavriata, just a few kilometers from Lixouri. What made this place truly special was the peace and quiet. The village has only a handful of inhabitants, which creates a relaxing and authentic atmosphere that is becoming increasingly rare to find. Our favorite moments were spent on the veranda in the evenings, enjoying the distant sea views and soaking in the tranquility. We loved walking through the village at dusk, admiring the charming houses and vineyards while listening to the sound of the cicadas. It felt like stepping into a slower, more peaceful way of life. The accommodation was fully equipped with everything we needed during our stay. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches from the host. Finding bottles of cold water waiting for us in the fridge after our journey was such a simple but wonderful gesture. As a welcome gift, the owner also left us a bottle of rosé wine, which was absolutely perfect for our first evening on the veranda. Everything was spotless, the internet speed was excellent, and we never felt that anything was missing. The owner was very kind and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic, peaceful escape in Kefalonia.

The house is perfect for a group of 4-5 people. The kitchen is equipped with everything you may need. Everything is spotless. The host is really kind. The view is wonderful, original Greek landscape and the terrace is perfect for late night talks and dinner. There are smaller beaches at a few minutes drive and you can use this house as a starting point to discover the island. The parking place is in front of the house, suitable for multiple cars.
