Eleanna, our host, welcomed us with incredible warmth. She greeted us in front of the house, gave us a thorough tour, and even sat down with us to go over a map of Kefalonia—pointing out the best beaches and restaurants, which was immensely helpful. To our delight, the owners (a sweet elderly couple living upstairs) left us fresh figs and vegetables from their garden, along with a delicious homemade cake. Their kindness stood out as some of the most genuine hospitality we’ve ever experienced in our travels.
Though the toilet was somewhat compact and the shower pressure could have been stronger, these were minor points in an otherwise wonderful stay.
