A great start to our holiday, would definitely love to stay again and would recommend

The beds were comfortable, excellent facilities and little extras. Shower was great. Surroundings were beautiful, loved sitting outside on the porch in the morning with our coffee. Most of all the owners were really friendly and great at corresponding which was really appreciated

The small apartment that you need!

Amazing location in a super quite position in the countryside but at only 15 minutes to Inverness by car. The apartment is perfectly cleaned and well equipped.

Accomodation at The Den

It is situated just a 15 minute drive from Inverness and is in a very quiet area. The 'apartment ' is very quaint and exceptionally clean. The kitchenette is very well equipped and sleeping areas very comfortable and cosy. Owners are very friendly and helpful and they made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay memorable. I highly recommend this accomodation.

Absolutely clean and cozy property and makes you feel at home immediately

Not really dislike, but one has to be careful of banging heads on the side of the walls because it’s actually built in an attic.

Lovely Stay !

Host met us outside as we arrived, Ian was such a caring, lovely and friendly person. We felt really welcomed. The place was really clean, beds were comfortable - we had everything available that you needed. As we travelled for a wedding we didn't spend enough time there to experience the outdoors and the views. We had the chickens visit us in the morning outside our front door - which was lovely !, we also had a stunning cat visit us daily (we named it Freddie - sorry Ian we didn't know his/her name) :) he was such a friendly cat ! you do require a car if you wanting to go to shops or to the main city as taxis can get expensive (we paid around £32 one way into the City of Inverness). We would definitely come back and take the hot tub experience whiles there. Powerful shower in the apartment, air fryer was also available.

Cozy flat in the middle of the woods

Very nice, clean, quiet and cozy. Our host was very welcoming, we were greeted by the hens and even offered some of their eggs. Everything was modern and in good working order and less complicated than in other apartments. (No turning on and off multiple switches for each appliance.) Plenty of water in the shower and the heating worked as well.

There is only a rainforest shower and no place for the soap inside , so it takes some strategic planning not to wet your hair. What we did not mind but might be a problem for other guests: The flat is not accessible. You can only cook with one pot at the time. To watch TV, you need to lie on the spare bed.

The host is friendly and helpful. Beds are very comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped. Bathroom has plenty storage space and strong shower. The outdoor area overlooks cute hen house and forest.

Everything was well organised. It was peaceful around but still close to Inverness and the area. Hospitality was on top level.

Great place to stay!

It is a great starting point to travel all around Scotland and the Highlands. Inverness is just a few minutes away and the place is tidy, comfortable and you got everything you need. The hosts Ian and Oyfrid were also very lovely and kind! We had a great time there.

Great place to stay

Great space for a small family, Ian and Oyfried are great hosts and have very friendly pets. It was a bit of a tight fit for 4 grown adults but it fit our needs for travelling around Inverness. It was great to stay outside of town. Convenient location, around 10 minutes drive to city centre. Ian and Oyfrid gave us a great recommendation for breakfast. Thank you again!

Relaxing break

The Den was lovely. Very clean and comfortable. We loved the warm welcome from Pakka (?) the cat and Fudge the dog, as well as the chickens. It was a great base to do some forest walks and then relax in the hot tub!

Will definitely go back!...

Amazing, friendly hosts willing to go the extra mile. The den was so incredibly clean and everything seemed like new. We got to meet their chickens, cats and dog! If you're an animal lover I would definitely recommend. The area is absolutely beautiful, we managed to get out on the bikes even though the weather was poor. The hot tub was amazing and very clean, there was even a little TV at the hot tub too. Overall 11/10! Thank you so much!

Posto silenzioso e nel verde. Appartamento accogliente e host gentili. Simpatica la gatta e le galline dei proprietari.

Appartamento grazioso ma un po piccolo, eravamo in 4 e non c'era spazio per appoggiare le cose.

Tolle, ruhihe Lage direkt am Waldrand. Freundlicher Gastgeber. Apartment mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Frische Eier von den eigenen Hühnern.

Leider waren am Boden und in der Waschmaschine schwarze Haare. Auch die Kammer für das Waschmittel war total dreckig. Die Küchenfronten waren dreckig. Am Regal waren irgendwelche Brösel. Total schade, dass es nicht so sauber war, da es ansonsten ein nettes Apartment mit einem freundlichem Gastgeber ist.

A házigazda egy kis kedvességgel várt. Tökéletes az elhelyezkedés, gyönyörű környezetben. A város 10 perc. Az apartman mindennel fel van szerelve. A házigazdák a legjobbak. Nagyon nagyon ajánlom mindenkinek aki nyugodt környezetben de a városhoz és Loch Ness-hez közel szeretne pihenni.
