About this house rental
Open concept roomy floorplan! This beautiful property is located on the Niagara Escarpment ( Bluff) between Egg Harbor and Carlsville. It is close to the heart of Egg Harbor , but just far enough away to enjoy peace and serenity after a full day of boating, shopping, sightseeing, biking or kayaking.The gourmet kitchen has a double oven, gas cooktop, Large refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, granite island and countertops, a dining room table that seats 6 with additional seating for 4 at the island. Nice deck off the kitchen to enjoy the beautiful sunsets over the bay! It has 4 bedrooms and 1 pull out Queen sleeper sofa. ALL 4 bedrooms overlook the bay! 1st floor Master bedroom has a King size bed, with Master bath that has a tiled shower, granite countertop with his and hers sinks, and a walk in closet. Bedroom 2 has a queen size bed. Bedroom 3 is in the lower walkout level and has a King size bed with a large walk in closet .Bedroom 4 is in the lower walkout level and has 2 twin beds. There is a guest bathroom upstairs that has a bathtub/ shower combination and quartz countertop, and one spacious guest bathroom in the lower level that has a roomy shower, quartz countertop, and a sliding door between the shower and sink area, so its easy for 2 people to utilize the bathroom at the same time. Kitchenette \ bar area (NO cooktop ) in walkout level with an additional refrigerator, granite countertops, sink, cabinets, glassware, plates, bowls, flatware, microwave and dishwasher as well as a family room with TV and Foosball table. We have a stereo system with speakers throughout the house as well as speakers outside so you can enjoy the sunset , music and dinner on the outside patio. Use the outdoor grill, crockpot, gourmet kitchen or choose a restaurant from our list of recommended places to eat out. We have a wide variety of outdoor games, including Plinko, ax throwing ( plastic safe version) , connect 4, cornhole ( bean bag toss) , and Jartz ( safe version) .In the evening , enjoy s'mores by the outdoor fire pit. We are...4 minutes to Carlsville, 13 minutes to Sturgeon Bay,16 minutes to Fish Creek, 22 minutes to Ephraim, and 28 minutes to Sister Bay. Conveniently located in close proximity to cherry and apple orchards. Got bikes? Take a bike ride to Door Peninsula winery, or Door County coffee and tea. We take pride in our well kept home , and have a strict No pets policy. NO parties of any kind, NO smoking, we do NOT allow bachelor /Bachelorette , LARGE family reunions, weddings or any other type of large party gatherings. This is a family owned home and we rent to people who would treat it as if it were their own.
June- Aug., we rent by the week only with Saturday check in / out.
Sept. and October we require a 4 night minimum., check in and out on your choice of days.

My sisters and our husbands stayed ay this beautiful home last year for a Door County vacation. It was so wonderful we booked again to enjoy more of Door County after a family wedding. This time my daughter, her boyfriend, and my nephew joined us. With the “young people” we were more adventurous. We hiked many beautiful trails, hit lots wineries, distilleries, breweries, cheese shops, picked apples, shopped, checked out the Cana Point lighthouse, and a state park in Ellison Bay. The boys golfed several times. But coming back to our vacation home to eat, drink, relax and watch the gorgeous sunsets was our favorite part. Gayle and Wayne are so welcoming. The home has everything! So comfy and tastefully decorated throughout.We played games with music on the fabulous sound system. Morning coffee on the porch was also a treat. Watching birds, wild turkeys in the morning. Spotting deer in the evening. So peaceful.

The house was fantastic! Our family really enjoyed it. It was not the house to rent though with a one year old as there were many stairs however the baby enjoyed climbing up the stairs. We unfortunately did not get to enjoy many sunsets as we had smoke from the Canada fires and the weather did not cooperate. I would definitely rent it again and hope for better weather.

This property exceeded our expectations! Super clean, nicely stocked, beautiful views of the water & sunsets, and close proximity to many fun Door County activities. Highly recommend.

Beautiful sunsets! And beautiful views everywhere. Plenty of space...great for families. The owners thought of every amenity...well-stocked kitchen, some snacks, hair products, even found some first aid supplies when we needed them! The home is brand new, and very clean. Close to Door County Coffee and Tea...one of my favorites. You will love it here!
