About this house rental
The house consists of a large living room divided into a lounge area by the fireplace, a TV room and a dining area with seating for up to 8 seats. The living room leads to two bedrooms with king-size bed, very comfortable, and the two bathrooms, one with shower and one with bath.
Across the room, or even from the back entrance of the house, you enter the rustic kitchen and fully equipped, which has a small window overlooking the amazing green hills of the Tuscan countryside, from which, while cooking, you can enjoy an a fantastic view that stretches to the sea.
The porch in front of the entrance is another lounge area and also an outdoor dining area with a large table and a large barbecue. All around you are surrounded by a 360 ° view of the Maremma hills and the nearest village Manciano, located about 3 km and where you can find all kinds of shops, to buy food or to go shopping.
As is known the entire region of Tuscany is famous for its good food and quality of local wines. You will not have to choose.
In about 20 minutes you can reach the archaeological zone of Saturnia, where there is also one of the spas and spa treatments most important in Italy, .In half an hour you can reach the various resorts of the area of Argentario, as Porto Santo Stefano or Talamone.
In about 50 minutes you can reach the park dell'Uccellina, WWF oasis, where you can make beautiful walks, walk, bike or canoe, and enjoy beautiful views or find secluded beaches.
After about 1 hour you can organize many cultural trips, visiting places like Pitigliano, Sovana, Sorano, Pienza, Capalbio, Bolsena and its beautiful lake, Tuscania and Viterbo: there you will never get bored in Tuscany.

The cottage is rustic and charming with a lovely pool. Situated on a hill with a gravel drive up to it, the cottage offers peace and quiet and privacy with no other property overlooking it. The pool is a good size and is maintained every other day so is very clean. The cottage is an old style building with a few dusty corners but is comfortably furnished with a large lounge dinning area, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen has lots of utensils, cookware, crockery and glasses. More than you could ever use. We loved being here for the peace and quiet and spent most of the time outside eating at any one of three patio's depending where the sun and shade were. The cottage is situated in a large plot of land so there is space to roam. It's a few miles in to town for basic groceries and bar and café and Saturday market but this provides an excellent base for exploring Tuscany. We were sent a map and directions prior to arrival and our breakage deposit was refunded promptly. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others seeking a peaceful holiday retreat.

Very nice, well equipped rustic home close to Manciano. Perfect for 2 couples. Beds a little on the hard side for us.
