❤️ The best vacation ever!

We had the best vacation of our entire life in Bali and this place is a major part of that! The food was absolutely incredible! We only ate here for our entire vacation and besides being safe for us Europeans (Bali Belly :)) it was the best food ever. If perfume could be eaten, this flavour would be it! The massages were amazing, not only technical but just a pleasant energy to be in! The view! Unbelievable! The rooms! The nature! Bali is truly healing and we thank each and everyone at the resort for showing us so much love and giving us this unforgettable experience! What makes Bali beautiful are its people!

Hospitality was invented here

What an amazing hotel this is. And for so many reasons… I’d rather not write anything so that I is still free when I book it in the future but then it doesn’t do justice to the formidable staff and the great hotel. Quiet and calm, away from the Ubud-huddle. Great interior. Super rooms. Fabulous food. Lush garden. Nice infinity pool. So many things to mention that one thinks the concept of hospitality was invented here. We will come back the second we can! Big shoutout to the staff xxx

We were here in rainy season. So after rain showers the frogs were singing. If you can't deal with animals -like one of the guests who complained the frogs were too noisy- then don't come here. Staff can't control nature/animals. Then go to a concrete building in a city center and trade frog calls for scooter noise. And don't think you can walk to Ubud center; it's way too far. But there are regular free hotel shuttles back and forth. And when you take the shuttle it takes more than 10 minutes (let's say 20-25 min depending on the time of day). Bali traffic can be difficult.

The valley view, the public pool, free daily afternoon tea, the excellent staffs.

Quite a lot of bugs, but that is expected for a property that in the forest. But what is not acceptable is the fact that the room is cockroach infested, they seem to gain entrance via the bathroom, in my short 3 nights stay, i killed 1 adult and 3 infants cockroach, basically would encounter them once every day.

Lushgreen location!! The staff was so accomodating, they literally had answers to everything. The location was perfect as well, just in the middle of north ubud and the ubud main city. It was just 20 mins each way! Definitely gonna come back here. Perfect resort experience. THE FOOD WAS SO GOOD!!!

Unbelievably beautiful and luxurious experience

This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay for a peaceful retreat. The grounds are impeccable, and the entire atmosphere is very peaceful. The food in the restaurant is top shelf, the spa is great, and perhaps the most notable thing is how wonderful and friendly the entire staff is. Nothing was too much for them to attend to, and they made sure we felt very welcome from the moment we arrived. It is a little slice of paradise in a most beautiful location. Couldn't be more pleased with our stay there and recommend it to anyone who enjoys peace and natural beauty.

A must Balinese experience in the jungle

The setting is magical, the breakfast is amazing, the people working there are the most helpful and friendly hotel staff I have ever met. Because of its boutique setting nothing was ever crowded whether it was the main pool, breakfast or the spa. Yoga with Katut was a highlight as well. Wednesday dinner party with great food and traditional dances is something not to be missed neither. The hotel feel provided a true Balinese experience from the deco to the food etc.

Dream honeymoon stay!

Our honeymoon stay here was beyond our expectations. The infinity pool room and the entire hotel are absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking views. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, creating such a warm and peaceful atmosphere throughout our stay. The restaurant and breakfast were delicious, with lots of fresh and flavorful options. The yoga class offered by the main pool in the morning was a great moment. We couldn’t have dreamed of a better place to celebrate our honeymoon!

Best Anniversary Resort in Ubud

Location is about 25 minutes away from the busy downtown center of Ubud, which we liked as we were celebrating our anniversary and loved being in the mountains. The staff here is amazing, as well as the restaurant and food. Loved the special Thursday night Balinese dinner and show with dancing. Our villa had a wonderful outdoor covered patio overlooking a private pool and the valley. There was nothing about resort we didn’t love. We will be back for sure!

With any resort there will be the occasional ant or mosquito. The good news is the tiny ants do not bite. We adjusted to them and they were a non-issue for us. Just mentioning so others are prepared.

Feeling like in paradise in Ubud.

We decided to go back to this hotel for the second time and it was all worth it! We really felt like home, cuddled and so welcomed from all the staff. Ubud Valley is the perfect place if you want to relax and be far from the crowd of Ubud centre. Everything is just perfect, from the complimentary welcome drink to all the services. The spa massages are very high quality ones, the restaurant offers many delicious alternatives. They took care of our dietary restrictions from the very beginning (vegan) and they made sure we were satisfied with what we got. They also prepared us a very nice afternoon tea. The pool is so relaxing as there are usually not so many people at the same time (tourists normally take some time also to visit Ubud city and the surroundings). They organize many different kind of tours but it’s really the case to take some time and enjoy the atmosphere of the resort. You are immersed in nature and the rooms are so cozy, very well Balinese-style-designed, and equipped with all that you could need. If you can, take time to take part to the activity where you learn to make Canang Sari and attend a free Hatha yoga lesson in the morning. Do not hesitate if you are looking for a really relaxing place.

Exquisite design

The property is gorgeous- very nicely carved wooden room with a lot of attention to detail- from anti-mosquito spray on the porch to a beautiful flower and fruit vase inside. The stuff is wonderful too and have very calming presence. The swimming pool is uniquely beautiful with marigold flowers falling directly in the water - it’s a piece of art. The dinner was fantastic - coconut 🥥 mushroom soup was a delight. Dark wooden floors are gorgeous to walk on - it’s a sensory paradise.

The hotel is a bit hard to reach and the hailing app may not always be locating drivers - can become a challenge if you would like to do something in central Ubud. I am now being picky - yet I have to mention a couple of things. Firstly, there was very noisy loan moaning activity on the day of my check out at 11am (it’s true I was warned a day before but it didn’t make it less noisy). It was impossible to enjoy the room for the whole hour and then sharply at 12pm, I was asked to leave - I didn’t manage to finish recording a voice message I needed to do for work and it felt really rushed on behalf of the hotel, given the level of inconvenience caused by maintenance. There should be a policy of letting guests stay in the room a bit longer as a compensation for the disturbance and let them pack in peace. Secondly, there was an offering of ginger and green juices at each table (with some cute explanation). The hotel attendant came chatting to each guest and brought the goodies but somehow missed me. It’s a minor thing but I was wondering if she was fully present when doing her job - there were 5 tables max to serve and it felt a bit off. Of course, one may say - you can just ask - it’s true and also it just didn’t feel convenient because she was not around after having made the circles with all the other guests. I was really enjoying my breakfast, so there was nothing to suggest I would not want a treat and a little check in. Finally, I had a pool villa and it was not as quiet as I imagined - I could hear my neighbors very well and they played music, which was quite audible both in the room and in the bathroom. Again, no problem for people who don’t mind a little noise but for me it was a mild annoyance to take a bath to the tune of someone else’s music or TV.

An exceptional hidden gem offering luxury, relaxation in a beautifully quiet and tranquil setting.

It was tranquil, calm and relaxing. Outstanding delicious food and the staff are well trained offering 5* service- nothing is too much trouble for them. An amazing room to caters to all needs. Floating breakfast , afternoon tea delights and spa package elevated our trip. I do not have anything bad to say about this place. It was exceptional … we didn’t want to leave!

This was one of the most memorable and relaxing stays I had in Bali. The service was excellent, the place was exceptionally clean, and the atmosphere was unique and peaceful. Breakfast was served à la carte with a rich and varied menu — every dish was incredibly delicious and professionally presented. The view was stunning, and the welcome drink (a refreshing blend of ginger and lemongrass) was a perfect start. I spent most of my time at the hotel during the last days of my trip, and it was exactly what I needed to unwind. They also offered daily activities, and one evening we enjoyed a special dinner with traditional Balinese performances – a beautiful cultural experience. The staff were amazing – always smiling, warm, and welcoming, which made the place feel like a real home where we felt completely safe and comfortable.

The location is quite remote, so it may not suit those who plan to go out every day. However, it’s perfect for a retreat or a peaceful escape from the busy parts of Bali. One small note: while the afternoon tea was unique and beautifully presented, it wasn’t my personal favorite.

Everything is amazing ! Its location is purely a dream! Located away from the craziness of Ubud town, it’s so calm and beautiful. The staff are beyond perfect in every way. Caring. Funny. Professional. They remember everything about each guest. We had 11 people in 7 rooms and they recalled all our preferences after one day. Rooms are comfortable. Spacious. Huge beds. Our room was a 2 bedroom with a pool - truly a dream destination in Ubud. Also the food was incredible and the Balinese evening of music dance and food was perfect

A peaceful stay!

A tranquil peaceful stay for me and my friend. We were very pleased to come here and enjoy some peace and quiet after the hustle and bustle of Seminyak. Our room was beautiful & spacious & the infinity pool was incredible. The staff here were so friendly and attentive. We appreciated the room service with good food and good prices. We enjoyed our evening at the Balinese BBQ & we both apologise for not getting up and dancing as we received a work call at that exact moment and time and both felt bad for not participating! It was good to learn more about the culture and watch the Balinese dancers! Thank for you a brilliant stay, we would definitely return here!

Only downside was just the building noise from the room next door which were messaged to apologise for. It was no big deal we were very much able to zone out from it but that would be our only negative! We understand things have to be done!

I had a lovely time!

Nice pool. Beautiful views. I love that breakfast was until 11 to give me plenty of time for leisure in the morning. Friendly staff. Prompt service. I loved the special dinner with dancers. The staff were so accommodating of my vegan diet and made sure I had plenty to eat!

It was a little expensive when compared to other places.
