Cute but not as expected

It was pretty.

Not close to anything. About 25 minute drive from town. It advertises having these beautiful, hot tubs, but they are huge and there was never enough hot water to fill it up. The water would get cold halfway through. We had critters running around in our cabin at night and would find a poop on the ground. Constant power outages. We lost our power over 10 times in one day. One morning, we were swarmed by ants and had to clean out everything in the bathroom. Staff had to come in and spray everything which stunk really bad. The place was really beautiful, and the staff was really excellent. The staff tried everything they could to help, But the hotel itself was very rustic and not very comfortable.

My trip was relaxing and restorative. I had the best time, and felt safe as a solo traveler.

Staying at Aksmi Suites & Villas proved to be an exceptional experience. Rooms were kept to a high standard of cleanliness, the resort surrounds were well maintained, and staff were attentive and helpful. Staff organized a power adapter for my bedroom on request, which eased my worry about not being able to charge my devices and tell family I had arrived safely, as I had forgotten to bring my own. The pool was beautiful, with the jungle outlook a perfect stage for relaxation. Aksmi pared me with a driver and tour guide, Rama; who was excellent throughout my trip. He was easy to communicate with, punctual, and helpful in assisting me to explore the local sights. I would recommend his services to future travelers.

Wonderful stay in Pejeng

What a wonderful place! Very friendly and warm staff. Everyone did their best to help and meet our requests. Amazing barista artist. 😄 The area is beautiful. Not far from Ubud but it feels a lot calmer and "local". The pool is breathtaking and quite spacious. In general, the whole setup is beautiful. They offer great options for massage, laundry and drinks. There are great restaurants nearby. At some point, we moved to the two-bedroom villa. I can recommend it, it is also great even if it rains because the private pool is covered and the view is amazing, too. :) Overall, it was a wonderful value for money.

The one-bedroom villa didn't have a separate living room as advertised - however, the owner and staff went really above and beyond finding great solutions to accommodate us and we ended up with a better set-up than previously booked. The breakfast options were a bit limited (we stayed for 8 nights) but from what we understood, there will be an in-house chef soon, so this might change. The door locks in the one bedroom villa could be smoother. Ordering a grab car or gocar to get around sometimes wasn't super easy but we always managed. Ordering food was no problem.

A hidden gem in Bali

Aksmi has given me an exceptional experience, from flawless booking experience, welcome from the staff which really showed the hospitality of Balinese people. I was amaze when entering the resort as the area is really great, with jungle and river view. The infinity pool is just exeptional. We loved it and really want to come back to this place

Traumhaft!

Von sechs Unterkünften, die wir auf unserer Reise durch verschiedene Länder gebucht haben, war diese mit Abstand die beste. Die Lage im Landesinneren, etwas abseits von Ubud, ist hervorragend, wenn man Ruhe sucht. Die Straßen sind nicht verstopft, und da sich die Anlage direkt an einem Bach befindet, ist man von tropischer Vegetation umgeben. Man hört unglaublich viele unterschiedliche Tierarten, sieht sie teilweise sogar, und es gibt keinerlei Straßenlärm oder bellende Hunde in der Nacht – das war wirklich außergewöhnlich angenehm. Die gesamte Anlage ist traumhaft schön gestaltet, mit sehr vielen Pflanzen, alles wirkt bunt, üppig und grün. Der Pool ist toll, und unsere Villa hat die Erwartungen sogar übertroffen. In anderen Ländern würde man für eine vergleichbare Unterkunft problemlos 500 Euro oder mehr pro Nacht bezahlen, hier waren es lediglich 50 Euro – das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist also herausragend. Die Angestellten waren durchweg sehr freundlich, immer mit einem Lächeln, und haben sofort reagiert, als wir etwa die Musik an der Bar etwas leiser haben wollten. Auch der Scooter-Verleih war unkompliziert, preislich völlig in Ordnung und flexibel. Einmal haben wir unseren Aufenthalt spontan verlängert, was ebenfalls problemlos möglich war. Abends konnten wir uns über GoCheck Essen liefern lassen, was sehr günstig war und einwandfrei funktioniert hat. Insgesamt eine ganz großartige Unterkunft, die wir absolut empfehlen können.

Eigentlich gibt es kaum etwas Negatives zu berichten. Aufgrund der naturnahen Lage muss man natürlich damit rechnen, dass sich auch Tiere bemerkbar machen. Bei uns waren Geckos in der Hütte, die typische Geräusche von sich gegeben haben, was wir persönlich eher als stimmungsvoll empfunden haben. Einmal kam auch ein Frosch zu Besuch. Gefährlich oder unangenehm war das jedoch nicht.

Bellissimo soggiorno vicino a ubud ma nella privacy più assoluta

Personale amorevole e attento sempre pronto ad aiutare, piscina a sfioro nella giungla fantastica, privacy, la bellissima struttura in stile balinese. Mi hanno persino fatto una torta a sorpresa per il mio compleanno!!
