Die Unterkunft liegt direkt in unmittelbarer Nähe zu Petite Venice und zur Altstadt. Besser geht nicht. Sie liegt in einem alten historischen Gebäude und ist modern und hübsch eingerichtet sowie geräumig auf zwei Etagen. Da sie im oberen Stockwerk liegt ist der Zugang nur über eine Treppe möglich. Für gehbeeinträchtige Menschen nicht zu empfehlen. Da rundum Restaurants sind, ist es auch abends noch etwas lebhaft.
Leider besteht in der Nähe tagsüber keine Möglichkeit das Auto kostenlos abzustellen. Über Nacht ist Parken auf öffentlichen Stellplätzen kostenlos.

Very nice location, easily accessible, and very beautiful!! The kitchen had a stove, oven, microwave, and all cookware. Bed was firm and comfortable. Lots of windows to let airflow in, with rustic shutters (although some are missing their latch).
I imagine this could be a very nice honeymoon flat to relax and feel welcome and at home in!!
I had some trouble connecting to the Wi-Fi. The fridge did not have a freezer. House rules stated no parties / more than 2 visitors, though this would otherwise be a magnificent place to invite people over to to lounge and hang out with.
The shower is behind a lockable glass door that would leave you fully visible to a roommate coming up the stairs to the bedroom.
Pigeons nest just outside, so you are discouraged from leaving the windows open while you’re out, lest they might come flying right on in.

I like that it was a property that was built in 1543 and that we are right in the heart of mediaeval Colmar. Exactly what I wanted when visiting this beautiful small city.
Along with the age of the building came some of its quirky amenities. The stairs were steep and a bit difficult to negotiate for a couple of seniors. We made it work and did enjoy our stay there.

Location was perfect. The apartment is nice and it was clean.
It was terrible hot in the apartment, impossible to sleep at night in the bedroom ( second and last floor).They were two fans, one on each floor, but wasn’t enough. Maybe during fall or winter is better.
