One bedroom attic apartment with panoramic views across Lake Lugano.
Offering a perfect escape for a dream holiday, a honeymoon to remember, a base to explore the surrounding Italian Lakes or simply a luxurious space to kick back and relax. Residenze Valsolda is located in the quaint Italian village of San Mamete, just five minutes from the Swiss Border.
This cosy (approx. 55 M2 / 545 Ft2) one bedroom-one bathroom top floor apartment will sleep 2 people. The apartment has wooden floors with traditional Italian beamed ceilings and Juliet balconies (standing only - no space for seating) from all rooms over-looking Lake Lugano. The apartment has been interior designed by a top Milan design studio and furnished with bespoke Italian furniture offering guests a comfortable, sumptuous and stylish accommodation.
The open plan lounge/diner has comfortable seating for four and is equipped with Flat Screen HD TV, satellite receiver, home theatre system with iPod dock and an extensive DVD library. The luxury fitted kitchen comes with modern appliances such as induction hob, combi oven/microwave and grill, fridge/freezer, coffee machine. Range of quality utensils are also supplied. The bedroom has a large comfortable bed with high quality mattress and plenty of storage units. The bedroom also offers one of the best views of the Lake Lugano and San Salvatore. The wet room has a walk in shower, marble counter top, toilet and bidet. Bed linen, towels and basic toiletries are included in the cleaning fee and for convenience there is also a shaving socket, hair-dryer, iron and ironing board. The apartment has central heating for winter months and ceiling fans for the summer (in Lombardy use of central heating is only permitted from November to March).
There is an elevator in the building and the communal areas are very well maintained with Italian Carrara marble flooring throughout. The villa also has a private dock that provides guests with direct access to the Lake for swimming with an outdoor shower facility. The dock itself is reserved for the private use of owners and not available to guests for sun bathing. A further well maintained communal dock/beach is open to public only 150m from the Villa and is a good spot for taking some sun. There is also a public swimming pool and shower at this dock/beach.

The property was beautiful and nicely decorated, right on the lake. Any questions we had were immediately answered by Sara and Max or Samik. Some instructions for the TV might be nice and perhaps also for the stove. Over all we enjoyed our stay very much and the small town of San Mamete.
