Lovely peaceful location

It was a peaceful and quiet resort with good amenities. The welcome pack was a good touch and the fact we could bring our dog was great

The weather wasn't the greatest which stopped us from going out much. The main road to the closest village and dog park was closed.

Swimming pool and sauna were great, games room, park and trampoline for the Grandchildren

Wonderful country cottage with use of pool

The owners had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. A cream tea with local scones and clotted cream was waiting in the cottage for us, as was a basket of logs for the log burner. They even left us a towel for our dog. The cottage was warm, cosy and very clean. We had our own little garden with stunning views over the countryside. The pool was sole use on a rota, which worked so well

Tranquil peaceful paradise stay

We loved the quiet location & it was lovely having the swimming pool & sauna especially at the end of the day when you have been out exploring .

Towels were a bit old & rough . As it was so hot would have been good to have a sheet to use instead of duvet. But nothing serious everything else was perfect .

Great Place for a Young Family (fab pool)

Lovely family get together in 3 of the 5 cottages. Beautiful site with far-reaching views (particularly from the garden of the Smithy). Excellent swimming pool with a rota system to give private use, also Sauna good. Very friendly owners, good communication, directions etc. Would be fabulous for a young family. Lovely garden/play area. BBQs for use.

Quite a lot of driving on narrow roads but no worries in a normal car.

A fantastic property.

The whole experience was amazing. The facilities were beyond our expectations. The hosts had put a lot of thought into visitors needs during their stay. The room was comfortable and cosy. We would definitely return. It would be advisable to print out the location instructions.

A very happy stay visiting Devon and we left with some good memories. I will be happy to go back.

The countryside location was very peaceful. The sunrises were amazing. This was the best experience for city dwellers and youngsters. There was a Rooster with his hens at the farm in a very caring and protected atmosphere. There were facilities for indoor swimming and a pool table. There were proper notes for the local route on how to get there. The farm owner, Jonothan, was very friendly and approachable whenever help was needed.

We quickly got used to the additional flies in the conservatory. This is also a part of the countryside life.

The rooms were spotlessly clean. Kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pan's etc. Plenty of wardrobe/drawer space. Warmed up very quickly when heating was on. Plenty to do on site. Play areas, swimming pool etc. Swimming pool was lovely and warm. Very clean too. Staff very friendly and welcoming too

The double bed was quite uncomfortable but I think that was probably a personal thing. We found the kitchen area was on the small side. Not much worktop space for preparing meals

the location was spot on to get around north devon, the little village of bampton was 8 mins away and brilliant for a drink, or use the local shops.. the hosts were attentive and the property fabulous for our family and dog...cant wait to return!
