This charming two-storey cottage, perfectly situated within 10 miles of Tiverton, Wellington and Taunton is ideal for friends and families seeking an idyllic rural escape in Somerset. This dog-friendly property is perfect for walkers and families, with lovely routes right from the doorstep and a children's playpark only 100 metres away. Venture further afield to the Blackdown Hills National Landscape for hikes, or a ramble up to Wellington Monument for spectacular views across the county. There’s plenty to do for all ages whether watching a game at Taunton Cricket Club, visiting the popular Hestercombe Gardens, or climbing the ropes at Vivary Park. Coates English Willow Centre offers visitors a go at basket making and all things willow, while golfers can practise their swing at the West Country Golf Academy, 3 miles away. Plenty of attractions for children at Flip Out, an indoor activity centre or a trip to the old fashioned Wellesley Cinema after a look in the bespoke shops and eateries of Wellington. Alternatively, spend a relaxing day exploring the pretty village of Dulverton on Exmoor National Park, stroll around shops and galleries, or visit the National Trust’s Knightshayes Court, a gothic mansion with formal gardens and woodland walks, both within 15 miles.

Sit back and relax in the evenings while you watch a movie on the Smart TV. The spacious kitchen/dining room features all the appliances you need to make meal preparation a breeze. There’s a beautiful ornamental wood burner in the kitchen, along with a two-seat breakfast bar for informal drinks. The dining space features a table where you can linger over delicious meals and recount the day’s adventures. Another lovely space is the sunroom, ideal for unwinding on the comfortable seating with a coffee. Take the stairs from the kitchen/dining area up to the family bathroom and drift off to sleep in one of three delightful bedrooms – two doubles and a king-size with an en-suite shower and WC.
Outside, to the back of the cottage, there are steps up to a patio with outdoor furniture where you can sit and enjoy the countryside views.
