About this cottage rental
Perfectly placed, there is much to see and do nearby with the stunning cathedral city of Exeter being just a short drive away and offering a variety of shops, restaurants and amenities. Closer to home, the town of Tiverton boasts a pretty canal and from here you can hire a barge for the day. Walkers will also be in their element in this picturesque area of Devon. Both Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks all within easy reach. Beach lovers can explore the world-renowned Jurassic coastline, including picturesque Lyme Regis, and the pretty seaside resorts of Sidmouth, Exmouth, Branscombe and Seaton. There are also a number of National Trust Properties in the area including the Killerton and Knightshayes.
Step inside this stunning, award winning, architecturally designed property that certainly boasts the WOW factor! Owing to the upside down arrangement of the property, the gorgeous bedrooms are located on the ground floor. The first of which is a beautifully dressed, super-kingsize bed room, with a deep, contemporary, freestanding bath in the room, gorgeous countryside views, and an elegant, en-suite bathroom with his and her hand basins and WC. Next door, a pretty twin bedroom which boasts a concealed dressing area with plenty of storage, full length mirror and en-suite shower room with mirror lit hand basins, heated towel rail and WC. Back into the impressive double height hallway and venturing up the feature oak staircase ( with built in child stair gates, top and bottom that match the staircase and can be kept open if so wished ) and onto the first floor, the property then opens up into an impressive and contemporary lounge/kitchen/diner area with a vaulted ceiling, exposed beams and stunning views of the valley. Here you can relax on the leather sofas in front of the wood burner effect gas fire and huge vaulted windows and watch the deer across the fields. The contemporary kitchen is also perfectly appointed and includes everything you could possibly need when on holiday. There's an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a Nespresso coffee machine in this very modern kitchen. There's plenty of space around the table for dining and planning your adventures, or sipping a coffee and admiring the views.
Heading outside and located to the side of the property, a fabulous enclosed outside area has been provided for your enjoyment and leisure and this includes a lovely sun-trap patio with a private hot tub, garden furniture and a charcoal BBQ, alongside an area of lawn. An external utility room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer, and on the other side of the property there is another large enclosed gravelled area offering ample private off-road parking alongside a secure area of grass and trees for doggy visitors.
