Villa with private pool and garden - Praia do Meco

It was a really great stay in Antónia's beautiful house. It is very well equipped and not very far from the beach. We would love to come back.

Just what we wanted, a beautiful base close to wonderful beaches. The village has everything you need, groceries, pharmacy, restaurants, coffee shop etc. Fully equipped villa, with everything you need, including pool towels, always a bonus. The pool works perfectly, small but deep enough for a dip to cool off. Yes there are dogs and chickens nearby, but didn’t bother us, wasn’t continuous. Surprised by the lack of aircon, always take it as a guarantee but even though the temp was mid 30’s, it does cool off at night. Again not a problem for us as we don’t rely on aircon, but might be an issue to others. Wonderful modern house for 4 people, ample of space, pool amazing and great place to base yourselves to explore the area with ease.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo — it was exactly as described in the listing. The location is fantastic, with a great coffee shop and several restaurants just a short walk away. One of the highlights of our trip was discovering the beach in Sesimbra, which is only about 10 minutes from the condo — truly the best beach we visited!The condo itself was very well stocked with everything you might need, making our stay comfortable and convenient. The check-in process was smooth, and having parking right at the front door was a big plus. The backyard was private and peaceful, perfect for relaxing even though the pool was too cold to use in May.The host was wonderful and responsive, making everything easy. We absolutely loved the property. However, the experience was affected by the noise from nearby roosters and a dog that barked throughout the day and into the night. Unfortunately, this meant we didn’t get the restful sleep we were hoping for.Overall, a beautiful place in a great location — with just one drawback to be aware of depending on your sensitivity to noise.

The house itself is fantastic, clean, spacious, well equipped, the small pool works fine. Great location close to beautiful beaches and I proximity to restaurants and grocery shopping. The house is situated next to a warehouse of some sort, a bus station is right outside (but the bus doesn't pass by so often) and the neighbors have a dog that barks and barks and barks, starting 6 in the morning. After 2 nights that ended way too early with the dog as a loud alarm clock, and got our teenagers quite upset, the dog somehow got used to our presence and barking nearly stopped. There are also chickens and goats in the area.
