This apartment is located on the ground floor of a building in the inner courtyard with a separate entrance. It is decorated in a chic and charming spirit ideally located for going out, visiting and discovering the city of 100 steeples. The apartment is quiet. Nearby you will find: the Palais de Justice, the Beaux Arts theater, the train station, monuments, museums and shopping streets.

Ground floor: open kitchen (dishwasher, oven, induction hob, microwave, freezer) on living-dining room (flat screen TV), 1 bedroom (1 double bed 160x200cm) with skylight. 1st floor: 1 bedroom (2 single beds 90x200cm), shower room with wc, linen room (washing machine, dryer), large dressing room. All charges included (water, electricity, heating, beds made, exit cleaning). Unlimited wifi connection by fiber.
Paid parking at the Old Market located 2 minutes walk from the apartment. Weekly rate.

Very charming small house within walking distance of everything in the old city of Rouen. Unlike many short term rentals, the owner prepared the home as though she was going to live there herself: so the kitchen was equipped with everything one could possibly need. There were even electrical plug converters for people coming from overseas. All the little details which make one’s stay more enjoyable.

Set in a rear courtyard, completely private and quiet, this two-level apartment has absolutely everything you could need. The hostess met me in person at a time we had agreed previously, and explained how to use all the appliances and access the wifi. Situated right in the heart of the city, all major attractions are within easy walking distance. Just brilliant.

A true hidden gem - fantastic!

We were caught up in horrific 12hr+ delays before arrival but communication with the apartment owners was easy and swift - we rearranged checking in without any bother. The apartment is situated right in the centre of town, but is in a quiet courtyard - the location couldn't be better! Everything was very clean and well presented, the kitchen has everything you need (including a raclette and crepe machine). The downstairs bedroom is the double, upstairs being two singles. It is worth noting that the bathroom and utility room are upstairs. The beds were very comfortable and all bedding and towels were provided. The washing machine and tumble dryer are an added bonus. This duplex truly is a hidden gem - I can't find anything to suggest as an improvement! Thank you

This clean, cozy apartment situated right downtown offers everything you need for an enjoyable stay in Rouen. The owner is extremely forthcoming and kind, easy to communicate with. The apartment is located on a busy street but set back in a courtyard so very quiet. The cathedral and Gros Horloge are a few steps away. Lots of sightseeing, shopping and restaurants nearby. You have to park in a nearby parking garage but easy to get to. Plenty of space for family of 4, well appointed kitchen. Highly recommend this gem and can’t wait to come back!

My husband and I loved this apartment, which served as our home for a month. It was cozy, comfortable, quiet and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and very functional. The bathroom was up-to-date and roomy. The laundry room is awesome with lots of storage. Also, the Internet connection was excellent. Delphine, the owner, was very helpful and accessible. She met us the first day and explained the apartment to us. She responded to email questions right away. The location couldn't be better. We exited the courtyard right onto the main street in old Rouen with easy access to all the shops and museums. If I return to Rouen, a city that I love, this would be my first choice of apartment.

The Joan of Arc is in a perfect position, downtown and only 15 minutes walk to the railway station, with a market quite nearby. It’s well equipped, tidy and cozy and Ms. Chauvet is a delight to deal with. We can we’ll recommend this lovely apartment.

Great place! It’s right in the center of Rouen making it easy to walk places. At the same time, because of the way the place is situated, it is quiet - so a nice escape from the noise of the city. The place is very clean and comfortable. Four of us enjoyed our time there.

Delphine’s charming house is ideally located in the middle of everything in Rouen. We stayed for a week from 9-16 July 2018 and used the house as our base when exploring Normandy - Dieppe, Honfleur, Etretat, Le Havre, Bayeux, Omaha Beach and also Mont Saint-Michel. We also enjoyed shopping and dining in Rouen. The house is really nice, clean and charming; the kitchen is well equipped and you have everything you need for cooking your own. meals. The house is a bit dark, but that did not matter to us. .Though the house is small, there is a really good room on the first floor which is a combination of a walk-in-closet / washing/Ironing room, wich we enjoyed very much. The wall-paper in the bedroom on the first floor is really nice. . Delphine is very knd and helpfuld and we highly recommend staying here.

Delphine’s charming house located in the middle of everything in Rouen was the perfect base for our Normandy adventure. We were able to walk anywhere in the old town in a matter of minutes. The house is located in a safe courtyard right off the main street. Tons of shopping and restaurants nearby. A grocery is conveniently located around the block. Delphine was very helpful and quickly responded to questions. Her English has some limits, but is still much better than our French. The washer and DRYER (yes, a real dryer) were very welcome during our extended stay. The beds were comfortable. The only minor issue is that the only bathroom in the place is upstairs. This could be a problem for those with limited mobility as I found out the hard way (severely sprained my ankle while on a day trip to Mont Saint-Michel). Otherwise, I would say this is a perfect location for a couple or small family. I would highly recommend this location and hope to stay here again on a future visit to Normandy.

We stayed in this lovely apartment for month and we really enjoyed the time we spent there. The location is absolutely perfect, next to Gros Horloge and Palais de Justice, 8 minutes walk from train station. Apartment is clean, quiet and has all equipment we needed during our stay. Wi-Fi is working properly. The owner Delphine is most helpful.

Overall a very good experience! Communication back and forth was timely and complete. We were met at the train station by the owner and her daughter. They walked us to the apartment and answered questions. We communicated in English, which was helpful. This quaint very clean 2 bdrm apartment was less than 10 minutes walking distance from the train station. Our oldest boy said this was the cutest place he ever stayed in! It is in a secure building close to the Palace of Justice. The kitchen was great to have. The beds were comfortable. We even had use of a washer and dryer upstairs. The bathroom has a stand up shower with a door, which is had to find in France. We had our two boys with us and they had their own room upstairs. We even got a late check out so we could enjoy the market Sunday a.m. Before you leave you need to do a little tidying up. Sweeping, washing dishes, taking out the trash. There is a book there explaining it. It is in French so if you do not read French ask. There was a flat screen TV on the wall, one sitting chair with ottoman. The neighbors were from England and were very nice. There is a grocery store, and a metro a couple blocks away. We rented a car and went to Normandy. (Make sure you rent ahead of time, they sell out quickly.) There were bikes to rent and the historic part of the city is great to just wander around in. Around 19:00 the place closes up except restaurants and bars. On Sunday, get out early, because afternoon there is not a lot open. We enjoyed our time here and would like to return to Rouen.

Appartement très bien situé rue Jeanne d'arc, à proximité de toutes les commodités. Parking à la semaine possible au Parking du vieux marché. L'appartement en lui même est très propre, bien équipé, manque quelques ustensiles pour la dégustation des fruits de mer. La luminosité du puits de lumière dans la chambre principale peut être gênante. Un store pour occulter palierai à ce désagrément. Bon séjour, belle ville, belle région. Nous reviendrons à Rouen avec plaisir.
