Amazing place with a seaview, Federica is a great host, highly recommended!

Amazing place next to Genova. There is a great park which belongs to the protertiy, and it is really fantastic, well maintained, with very nice spots to relax and observe the Genova bay. The apattment is spacious and well equipped. It comes with an amazing sea and port view, great spot! There is a short walk with stairs down to the beach. You can also easily get to Voltri beach, with a lot good restaurants, bars and shops. There is also a train station which can take you to the Genova storic center (and beyond). Basically, I think you do not need a car to have fun and explore Genova and closest area. However, there is a parking spot included just next to the property, and there is a lot to see within an hour drive. Federica is super helpful and easily reachable. The place is reallu recommended, great balue for money.

Well maintained park with water spots may result in some mosquitos, so bring your repelent if you use one (we had our own but there was some in the hut in the garden). Also, the motorway is quite nearby, it did not disturb our sleep at all. Thise two things are not something what yhe owner can do about, it is rather to share so that your stay in such a lobely stay is not spoiled :)

Huge mistake, I regret this booking

I’ll start with the good things: The host was sweet (but clearly had no idea) The gardens are lovely The rooms are a good size.

Everything else was dire. Not clean, poorly equipped, under & adjacent to a motorway, poor air conditioning, parking done distance away, terrible shower, frequent lower virus, intermittent poor internet, most of the power sockets are so old that they do not work with modern eu plugs, every door or latch has a “trick” so not suitable for short term renters. They have painted the floors but it flakes off and gills your bed with big black flakes of paint. I could go on. It was terrible. I left three days early without refund as I could not live at this level of chaotic ramshackle disrepair.

A small quaint beach can be reached using a short foot path. The long main beach , shopping and dining is less then a 10 minute walk away. The grounds around the villa are inviting to use and relax.

The bathroom was a little tight but it worked for our family.

Very nice place

The host is very warm and welcoming, fresh croissants and eggs for breakfast. Small secluded beach nearby, large public beach 20 minutes walk away. Lots of space and sunlight.

Internet connection is neither fast nor reliable. Somewhat pricey, but nearby hotels cost about the same and likely much worse comfort-wise.

A bit dated

The villa was very stylish looking for outside. The garden was very nice. The owner was extremely welcoming. The inside was clean and as in the pictures.

I stayed in the two bedroom apartment. It is in the basement of the villa, which is however overground. The second bedroom has no privacy, it is the entrance room converted into a bedroom, which means it gets accessed when entering the apartment, it has a curtain to separate from corridor and not a door. The overall property is dated and it would benefit from a refurbishment to bring the stylish look into modern days.
