About this chalet rental

Located between the village of les Allues and Méribel resort at 1450m of Altitude , our comfortable newly built cottage is situated in a quiet and authentic village and offers a clear view on the Saulire Peak.It consists of 4 bedrooms + 1 mezzanine and sleeps 10 people (possibility to host 2 additionnal people in the sofa, for 15 euros per person and per night).

It is equipped with all necessary facilities including a dry ski boot , a flat- screen TV with DVD player and a washing machine. You can enjoy traditional Savoyard dishes thanks to fondue and raclette machine that are available in the chalet.

We hold the " Label Méribel " created by the Office of Tourism of Meribel. This label is intended to enhance the internal quality criteria in the valley . It is also intended to focus all accommodations that meet the criteria atmosphere , equipment , plcae, view ...

A ski slope takes you to the chalet. A free shuttle every 20 minutes you will reach the center of Méribel in 5-10 minutes.

We provide free Wi -Fi and private parking .

Our membership in the ALP-Meribel association gives you access to numerous reductions and advantages (ski shop, French Ski School, Guides Office, Snowmobiles, Bowling, winter equestrian activities, yoga, snowshoeing, etc.). .). -The cleaning is mandatory after each stay during winter & summer seasons (130€)

We had a wonderful stay in Chandon. The open kitchen and living room are spacious, featuring a large dining table and enough seating for nine people on the couches. The teenagers especially enjoyed the large TV with Netflix.The kitchen is well-equipped with an oven, microwave, and induction cooktop, making meal preparation easy. Additionally, the provided raclette and fondue sets added a nice touch to our dining experience. There are plenty of plates, cups, and glasses available.While the bedrooms and bathrooms are compact, they are efficiently designed and worked well for us. The beds are on the firm side, but we still slept comfortably. There is ample space to dry ski boots and skis, and we also appreciated the small infrared sauna.The location is very convenient, with a bus stop just a few meters from the house. The bus system is efficient, running every 15 minutes in the morning and afternoon to and from Méribel Village and Méribel Centre. The last bus back is even at 01:00, allowing us to enjoy dinner in Méribel Centre without needing to take the car.The Méribel Valley is ideally located in the heart of the vast Trois Vallées ski area, making it perfect for day trips to Courchevel and Val Thorens.Communication with the owner, Arnoud, was excellent—he was responsive, clear, and helpful both before and during our stay.Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would happily return!

Essentials covered - we hired towels & bedding, we didn't run out of hot water and no issues with Wi-fi! Would stay again on our next visit to Meribel

We stayed in this lovely chalet during Feb 2020. Our party consisted of 6 adults and 3 babies and we had everything we needed for a great time. Would highly recommend.

The Chalet had everything we needed, there were 8 adults sharing. Although the bedrooms were small the living area was spacious. There is garage underneath the chalet to store your skis and boots. There is another garage opposite the chalet where you can park your car. It has everything you need for a skiing holiday. Chandon is a small hamlet so there is no boulangerie , we did not have a car but were able to use the bus to get to the shops, in Les Allues which takes 10 minutes(where there are also two very good restaurants) The bus service is good, the stop is just at the bottom of the road from the chalet. It usually took 15- 20 minutes on the bus to get to the main slopes. You can ski back to the Chalet but it is snow dependent. The only downside is the add on cost for cleaning and bed linen, I think it should be incorporated into the whole cost of hiring the chalet, since these costs are only revealed once you get the contract. The cleaning is compulsory, bed linen and towels are optional. A welcome pack would have been much appreciated even some milk so that we could have a hot drink on arrival before heading for the shops. Previously when we have rented this has been the case. Overall we enjoyed our stay but I think this chalet suits those who are travelling by car.

There were only four of us plus labrador, staying for a week in July. Almost everything was as described. The bedrooms (as mentioned before) are very small, but it was fine for us. Nice to walk out the door straight into the country. Chandon is a pleasant quiet village. Slightly shocked by the prices at the Spar in Méribel - possibly the most I've ever paid for a few groceries!! Lovely walk beside the river above Méribel, but almost all the other rural walks were vertical: not recommended for the infirm.

stayed 1 week with 5 persons and riding cols on our motorbikes. had a good time, the chalet is nice and big enough. Smal bedrooms and bathrooms but we dont need a lot of room.

Nice and quiet area, easy access to the station by bus, living dining kitchen area spacious but bath rooms and toilets small, bedrooms tiny (lack of space for storage in some of them), clean and well furnished. Great value for money!

Just spent a great week at La Mura ! 6 adults and 4 children. The Chalet had everything we needed, good living space, boot room, close to bus meaning we could leave the cars all week (parking nearby). One of the bedrooms was on the small side and heating didn’t seem to work in that room, but overall a great Chalet for our family and friends and we would consider staying here again !

We stayed in Chandon a few years back and loved it, but this was our first time with a larger family mixed group and in this particular chalet. As soon as we stepped in the door of this lovely home we were met with warmth, space and comfort. Good sleeping accommodation, ample bathrooms and plenty of social space. The neighbouring secure garage access was a real bonus which meant that one of our party drove up to Meribel each day with the kids for ski school and transported our ski equipment as well. We were spoilt with this but even so the free shuttle bus to and from Meribel is frequent and accessible and gives an excellent service. Our week by went all too quickly and we were sad to leave. We had a fantastic holiday. I would wholly recommend this chalet and Arnaud the owner is responsive and extremely helpful. Thank you Arnaud for all your help and service.

lovely and authentic chalet, equipped with all you need. The skibus is only a few meters away, and with a direct ski route access (the way back can be done by ski). with a huge living room, 3 bathrooms/wcs, small sauna, etc perfect for 8-10 people. great price/value

Il ne s'agit pas d'un vrai chalet, c'est une maison de village, les chambres sont petites, la pièce à vivre est très agréable et très confortable ! (Il faudrait régler la baie coulissante qui fonctionne mal) une bonne semaine passée en famille (9pers) mais sans neige !!!!!

Fantastic holiday at Chalet La Mura

We stayed at this great Chalet as two families of 4. It has a large open plan living area with plentiful space for cooking, eating and relaxing. The children especially loved having the mezzanine floor to play and chill in the evenings. The chalet is quiet, warm and cosy with plentiful hot water for showers, and the ski boot warmer in the garage was a real bonus. Only slight negative was a lack of storage in the bunk bed room and adjacent double room, and lack of handles on mugs, otherwise it was ideal for our stay. The chalet is a short walk (down a slight hill) to the ski bus stop, however we drove to the free car at Meribel village most days as it was only a short drive and there is a chairlift, small spar and bakery for essentials. I would advise stocking up at the large Super U supermarket before driving up the valley for most items. One word of advice - do not be tempted to park anywhere near the chalet other than the allocated garage space unless you want to encounter the wrath of a certain neighbour, as experienced by the 'Slide Candy' delivery man when collecting our ski equipment and parking outside for just 5mins!!

Just returned from a super holiday at chalet La Mura. It was easy to find although the lane is very narrow for cars to unpack. The chalet itself was superb and nicely furnished. The ski bus stopped at the bottom of the lane which took just a few minutes to walk to and then a ride of only 5/10 mins to the slopes. At the end of the day we could ski back to the chalet. I would recommend this chalet.

Logement adapté pour grande famille authentique chaleureux pièce à vivre spacieuse et conviviale. Chambre avec salle de bain pratique même si une des salle de bain meritrait un petit rafraîchissement. Cuisine bien équipée juste les poêles un peu fatiguées. Logement est bien situé avec l arrivée en ski au pied du chalet et l arrêt de bus en bas de la rue!! Propriétaire très aimable et disponible !! Avons passé un bien agréable séjour!!

Le chalet est spacieux et vraiment très bien équipé (barrière enfants, jeux, sauna, ustensiles de cuisine,...) . Le propriétaire est très réactif aux messages. Nous avons vraiment apprécié le village et les environs (les 3 vallées). A recommander sans hésiter pour les amateurs de montagne et de randonnées !

Das Haus hat eine gute Lage, keine 100 Meter von der Bushaltestelle entfernt. Der kostenlose Skibus bringt einen in ca. 5 Minuten entweder nach Meribel Centre oder Meribel Village, von dort steigt man in das große Skigebiet problemlos ein. Das Chalet ist komplett ausgestattet und sehr gemütlich, wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Die (Wohn-) Küche ist perfekt mit allen Geräten und mit dem riesigen Tisch auch für eine größere Gruppe sehr kommunikativ. Wir wollten gleich für die kommende Saison buchen, leider ist unser Wunschtermin schon ausgebucht. Definitiv empfehlungswert!
