About this apartment rental

Apartment Chalet in residence MGM at the foot of the slopes in the Preyerand neighborhood.
2nd floor, beautiful view of the valley of Belleville.
Total floor area 130 m2. Living space 95 m2. Large living room with kitchen, fireplace, mountain atmosphere. 5 bedrooms, sleeps 12 (2 double beds, 8 single beds), 2 bathrooms, 1 bathroom with shower and toilet, 1 separate toilet, Balcony, 2 ski lockers.
Direct access to the ski slopes and lifts in winter.


Fully equipped apartment for 12 persons.
Rent linen (sheets, duvet covers, towels ....).
Final cleaning included in the rates.

Flat screen TV, DVD player.

Location of apartment was a little further from the centre than I anticipated, although ski in / out was a treat! Bit tricky to find the apartment on arrival, time spent wandering around in the cold and dark, but we found it in the end. (Obviously!)The apartment was warm, comfortable and well appointed and overall we all enjoyed our stay there.

Great parking and even in April was ski in ski out, but we had a few issues: Even with detailed instructions, it was tricky to find the right apartment in Hameau des Marmottes and when we did, we had to scramble around in the dark for the fusebox because everything was off. Obviously you only need to find the apartment & fusebox once so not massively inconvenient but after a day's travelling it was an annoying end to the journey. Our biggest issue initially was with the laundrette who did not respond to our calls on Saturday so we didn't have bedding on our first night and although not the host's fault it is best to either arrive early on check in day or bring your own to avoid this. First time for me to have bedding and towels not included and would probably avoid in future after this experience. We also found that having only one communal toilet for 10 people was not enough. There is an ensuite with a toilet but walking in to someone's room doesn't feel quite right, so most of us shared one loo. Overall it works fine but would probably look for a different place next time.

- we have had a splendid holidays in a good appartment, good place for starting skiing. - maybe some more and better information on the website about the two sleeping lofts near the living room/kitchen. - pitty no second keys available half a week - bad solution with the bedline. You have to go to a laundry, very difficult to find in the center of the village. It took us 1 hour. At the end you have to bring it back. When you leave early in the morning the laundry isn’t open yet. For the rest, the service and contacts with the owner was ok.
