About this apartment rental
This holiday apartment was renovated and is on the ground floor of the house. It is quietly situated, outside of Carvoeiro, right on the coast, affording a unique view of the sea. It is just a few minutes’ walk to the fine sandy beach at Vale de Centeanes. There are shops and restaurants within easy walking distance.
The 70m² apartment has two bedrooms with a double bed (160 x 190cm) and a single sofa-bed for a child (85 x 175cm). The spacious living room provides a sitting area with a sofa and satellite TV, as well as a dining room with space for four people. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, fridge, microwave, kettle and coffee machine. The apartment has a bathroom with a bath, washing machine and toilet. It is equipped with air conditioning and heating (extra charge applies).
The apartment has its own furnished terrace. There is also a barbecue, so you can grill in the evenings. Public parking spaces are available.
After one week, there is a cleaning service and towels and bed linen are changed.
It is only about a +/-5 min walk to the small but exquisite sandy beach at Vale Centianes. Elongated stone stairs lead down to the beach, which is also serviced. Within 100 metres you can find restaurants, supermarkets and bakeries.

Coast/Beach
In Carvoeiro you can find wonderful restaurants, bars and tourist shops, the beach and its picturesque harbour and promenade (with its cafés). The center of villa only 2,5km from the apartment. Praia de Alfanzina (approx 10 mins walk) and Praia do Vale de Centeanes (approx 5 mins walk) are spectacular beaches (Vale Centianes, Marinha, Benagil, Carvalho e Albandeira).
Golf course
Club Golf Vale de Milho at 1km away with 9 holes. Many others famous near a few miles/km...

We spent two nice weeks at this nice apartment close to the Vale de Centianes beach, which seems to be one of the most beautiful beaches in the area and was only a five minutes walk away. The contact with the landlords Daniel and Julia was very friendly and they were always helpful with any problem that might occur. We found the premise clean and Daniel and Julia even cleaned it again after the first week of our stay, which we didn't expect and really appreciated.
The apartment is well equipped and offers nice terraces behind and in front of the house so you can catch the sun in the morning as well as in the evenings. Although the neighbouring terraces are right next door we were lucky as most of the time the other apartments around were obviously not inhabited at that time. One could, however, hear quite clearly what was going on in the apartment above ours.
The pool we were offered to use was a few hundred metres away and we preferred the beaches.
As we were in Portugal during the World Cup we were happy to hear that there is German and international satellite TV in the apartment, although the restaurants and bars nearby also offered screens to watch the games. There is a small supermarket in the village, too, als well as another bar on the beach.
The only thing which was a little bit disappointing was the Wifi system, which was quite weak and therefore available more or less only in the living room. Sometimes it didn't work at all. But that was definitely a minor problem.
We would recommend this apartment to any couple who are looking for a good value place to spend their holidays at the lovely Algarve/Carvoeiro region and thank Daniel and Julia for their hospitality. Barbara & Norbert

We are a family of four and had a great time there. The place is well located to many attractions. The area is very quiet and calm. It is just a few minutes walk to a beach and short drives to many others. Also a short walk to restaurants & bars. Really convenient. Having my own parking space was great as well, especially coming back late in the evenings.

Wow what a stunning apartment in a beautiful part of Portugal. This is actually my third time staying here and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Carvoeiro It has excellent facilities, over looks the golf course which gives the location a tranquil feel and close enough to the town to make the most of the nightlife.
Great apartment for an extra special holiday.

The booking process was straightforward and efficient. The apartment was clean and well-maintaned. It was nice having the terrace for al fresco dining, and the pool very close. The nearest beach was also 10 minute walk away. Local shop and a few quiet bars within walking distance. There were some disturbed nights' sleep however, due to dogs barking nearby. Overall very good.
