From the moment that we arrived, Amy was a warm and welcoming hostess. She did check-in as a tea ceremony. Then we received a free room upgrade. Breakfast was made-to-order (Chinese or Western style). We even benefited from one load of complimentary laundry on the last night. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. The house was historic and beautiful. I did not feel like a paying hotel client but like an invited houseguest staying a for a long weekend. If I ever visit Lijiang again, I would not hesitate to book a room at Amy's hotel.

I stayed at this boutique hotel with my friend in Lijiang Ancient Town and it was beautiful. The hotel is stunning, a converted house with all the modern facilities but keeps its core structure and beauty. A water fountain in the courtyard and the room definitely give the ancient town feel.
It’s family run and everyone especially Amy were super friendly and helpful. She was able to share some great recommendations which me and my friend enjoyed.
The breakfast, especially the Chinese breakfast was delicious and the family black tea shared by the owner is delicious.
Honestly one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in, and will definitely tell return.

Wonderful, family-run boutique hotel in the center of Lijiang on a quiet street along a canal. Meticulously renovated home is now a courtyard hotel. steps from all that the old city has to offer! Friendly and helpful staff!
