Log Cabin

We booked family room but turned out the room was too small for us, 2 adults and 2 kids (11 and 9), we upgraded to another of their property with bigger room, 1 tatami queen bed and 2 single beds, which the owner and his family members are living in the same property too. Nice ppl. Safe for family travel with kids. A bit of walk from the Main Street, but quiet. Clean place. Heating is fine. We found a small restaurant operated by owner from Guangzhou right outside of the alley, many types of comfort food for us after 9 days of Tibetan and Yunnan food.

Hopefully they can accept international credit card payment soon.

We stay here for one night, very easy to find, when you get off from Dali railway station , there is bus station just take number 8 , I think all the bus is 8 , just get off at the last station, very cheap cost for only 3 yuan. For Muslim quit easy to find halal restaurant, just ask the staff, within walking distance.

The room is sparkling clean. Spacious for all 4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids). The shower heater works amazing and the water pressure is great.

Sometimes there will have some faulty smells from the bathroom area. However it does not affect our stays. Also, the hotel is abit far from the happening streets. Need to walk for 10-15 minutes before reaching the hawkers street inside the ancient town.
