Comfortable stay, surprisingly homeful feel about the place and Annie was very welcoming.

Lovely comfortable cottage, really homely feel about it. Bedroom was much larger than expected as was the bed. Lovely big shower, loved the big glass roof that let in so much natural light. The kitchen had almost all the facilities that I could want. Enjoyed the fresh bed and condiments that were provided.

Very minor criticism was that I couldn't find any salt and pepper, also there was a low hum from water heater that I suspect supplied the main house. Heard it in the morning and was trying to place it, not enough to disturb my sleep but it was there.

The WiFi was not secure enough for our devices needing to be higher WP something?! It didn’t matter as we were having the weekend off from them! Cushions for the outdoor chairs would also be nice? Not a big thing and just a thought rather than “not liked”

A perfect little cottage! Thoughtfully prepared, with everything you need for a comfortable stay!

I had a lovely stay at this cottage! The landlord was incredibly nice and welcoming, and they really took care of everything in advance, even heating up the place before my arrival, which was such a thoughtful touch. They also left some breakfast treats for me (bread, butter, jam, juice, milk etc), which was extremely handy since I was attending a course nearby and didn’t have time to go shopping. It was so nice to have something ready for breakfast in the morning! The bed was extremely comfy! I’ve been sleeping terribly lately, but I slept 10 hours on the first night and woke up feeling completely refreshed. The cottage itself is very cosy, warm, and bright, just a really comfortable space to be in. There’s also a bakery just next to the cottage (literally a 2-minute walk), which was another lovely bonus. The kitchen was well equipped. I cooked there a few times and it had everything I needed. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

Attention to detail shows in all aspects of this property!

Location was perfect for us. Quiet and peaceful. We live in a very quiet rural area and need to stay in this type of property to sleep without noise disturbance. Bed was very comfortable. Excellent shower, plentiful hot water with high end toiletries. Continental breakfast more than adequate with homemade produce.

Lovely fresh bread from bakers next door and milk, jam, tea and coffee supplied. Quite location Well decorated. Comfy bed and great shower.

Misleading as the summer house was described as holiday home. I would not have booked this if I had known. It smelt very musty too. Sign on roadside for location could’ve been better marked - would never have found it in the dark.

in a very beautiful location, cute cottage with very generous breakfast options and tea , coffee. Bed comfortable, tv had free Netflix! Shower good and toilet good flush!

The sofa was uncomfortable and would liked real chairs for the dinner table. Key safe was hard to work out.

very well equipped small cottage, very clean and just the right amount of equipment to enable self catering. Very friendly rescue cats (beware they do visit the cottage)

Tasty breakfast included, nice shower, super comfy bed and overall a lovely cottage. Hosts were very helpful too. Parking right outside the cottage. Would definitely recommend. 🙂

I would not recommend this to a friend.

Location was peaceful, cottage snug, perhaps too snug. Lots of sideways walking to avoid hitting our heads on a cupboad by the bedroom door as we went in and out to the bathroom. Shower no power. No interaction with the owners whatsover, not been anywhere before where the hosts have not welcomed us or checked in during the stay. The breakfast was poor. Two adults for two mornings, breakfast provided in the fridge was:- one miniature jar of jam decanted from a larger, one miniature jar of marmalade decanted from a larger, only TWO eggs that we didn't want to fight over so we left them, a piece of butter cut off a larger block in a tiny bowl and a small cob loaf (not enough butter or spreads provided to make use of this). I chose the accommodation over alternatives as "breakfast was provided" however I do not feel that this promise was met. A tin of beans, an extra two eggs and a pack of bacon surely would not have been too expensive to provide a couple for two weekend breakfasts? Bottom line, I would not recommend this to a friend.
