Beautiful renovated stone villa - private pool,park,air conditioning,smart tv

Just beautiful. Everything is as posted. Owners very accommodating. Enjoyed every minute. Not too far from neighboring towns such as Cortona, Camucia, Pergo. Sienna and Montalcino, a medieval town known for its Burrello was just a hour and half away making it a nice day trip. Would highly recommend it for a place to stay in beautiful Tuscany.

We stayed there almost 2 weeks and had a great time. The description and the pictures of the place on the website is spot on. It is nicely renovated and you can see from the bathrooms that they didn't do it on the cheap. The only thing we were disappointed about was they closed the pool on us after 3 days. They said they had already organized the closing, which felt strange since we were using the property and it was part of why we selected the place. However we made the best of it and sat by pool even it was closed.

Our family of 9 (6 adults, a 5 month old, an 11 month old and a 2 year old) spent an amazing month at this beautiful property. The home is impeccable! The grounds and pool are expertly maintained daily by the friendly Mr. Giuseppe. We enjoyed early morning walks around the property, taking in the fresh air and scenic views while admiring the blooming flowers, olive trees and lemon trees. It was fun mastering the outdoor wood burning BBQ and enjoying our meals under the Tuscan sun. The location is great and we visited over 20 cities and towns in Tuscany during our stay. It was a pleasure meeting the lovely owner, Vera, and her warm and welcoming family. Would highly, highly recommend this vacation property! Tony, Denise and family

We really enjoyed our holiday in this fantastic house in a beautiful garden. Ca' de Santi is a great house with a lot of space and nicely decorated. The Villa is also used by the owners who take care for the garden. It has a great livingroom, lovely pool, bbq area and much more. Matteo, the host, were very friendly and helpful. When we had a question, he answered quickly. We had lovely two weeks. Thanks for the great stay!

A mix of 7 friends and family stayed for a week at Ca’ de Santi. The property is beautiful, with many blooming flowers (roses and wonderfully smelling jasmine!) berries, fruit trees, etc. We enjoyed morning walks within the property gate and some would go out and run outside the property to enjoy more of the countryside. We were provided excellent recommendations by the owner for a wine tour guide and cook to come prepare dinner and provide a pasta-making class on-site, which was alot of fun! The pool is lovely, and the lounge chairs provided are comfortable, along with pool towels in the little pool house. The villa would benefit from an addition of a sofa in addition to the 4 armchairs in the living area. There is plenty of seating with the chairs around the table, but only 4 padded armchairs, so not everyone had a "comfy" chair for the time we spent inside. Also, an explanation ahead of time for how the hot water works would be useful! (It's on an energy efficiency system so during the night the boiler shuts down. You have to turn on the hot water faucet in the morning, and then it seemed it would take about 30 min for hot water to be available. It was very hot once available!) But, overall we would love to come back and had an amazing time!! Hosts were very nice and responsive, and the staff we met that tended to the property were so lovely and friendly!

The villa and grounds were lovely (only half the villa was rented) but there were no basic cleaning supplies, no kitchen essential supplies, only one towel for 2 weeks was unacceptable and hot water rationing was totally unacceptable (with no advance warming). Matriarch was lovely, host was not friendly or welcoming.

Hosts were amazing. Best stay ever. We will return!!!

We had a fabulous week at Ca’ Santi. The accommodation & gardens are wonderfully spacious and the pool is big enough to do lengths in! It is all beautifully maintained and there are some unusual trees in the garden. We very much enjoyed spending time in and around the pool or at the outside dining table and barbecue area. Mrs Vera was kind & helpful and we enjoyed our chats with her in our broken Italian. The house is a 15 minute drive from Cortona and there is useful information in the house about other places to visit within a short distance. For us Cortona was the perfect size with not too many tourists and plenty to interest us. We also enjoyed walks from the house. Thank you so much! We would love to come back.

More than you can imagine ... the property is kept in pristine shape. It is so beautiful inside and out ... it will not disappoint you ! We were looking for that "Under the Tuscan Sun" experience and we found it . Fantastic location to tour all the little countryside towns .

This is a fabulous house near the lovely hill town of Cortona (less than 10 min drive). The house is a renovated old mill with the owner occupying the upper floor ( the incredibly sweet and active Miss Vera who is very unobtrusive and treated us like family) and four bedrooms and four baths plus kitchen and dining/living downstairs. Three of the bedrooms are very large and the fourth is a good size and quite private. The real bonus of this property is the setting: 6 acres (3 hectares) with beautiful pool and grounds and great location in a very quiet valley. We spent tons of time around and in the pool, and had all dinners al fresco at one of the lovely outdoor tables. The little town of Pergo (3min) has a grocery, pizza restaurant(excellent)and bar and you're within one half hour of numerous wineries. The town of Cortona is an absolute treat. This family was extremely nice and the renovated house excellent. We highly reccomend.

Great location if you are trying to see Tuscany. The owners are the nicest people and very helpful. The house was fine for 4 of us with room to spare. Beautiful grounds, terrific, clean pool. Everything worked and everyone did their best to make us at home. It is just outside a small village so very quiet. You need a car to get around. Felt very safe --gated and secure. Would love to go back!

We had a great time 4 of us from USA and two from UK. Great location and very nice interior. Matteo was very helpful in sharing his local knowledge and recommending great places to eat, along with the best local wines. Very nice location for getting to the local hill towns. We'd stay there again and are recommending it to all our friends.

Das Haus und das Anwesen war wirklich sehr schön! Der Pool ein Traum! Die Lage ist auch super um die Toscana und Umbrien zu erkunden. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und auch die Zimmer haben viel Platz. Nur die Ausstattung in der Küche war nicht sonderlich gut, es fehlen einige Haushaltsgeräte. Leider hat man dazu auch keinen Handyempfang und das WLAN ist nicht überall im Haus gut zu empfangen.

Our family just spend a wonderful month in Ca de Santi. Place was even better than in the pictures. Everything went extremely smoothly with the owner and kids loved to play in the yard, not to mention to swim in the pool. Best vacation, would definitely go again and recommend to friends :)

Als wir nach dem Lockdown endlich wieder die Möglichkeit hatten, nach Italien zu reisen, waren sehr viele Ferienhausanbieter noch nicht auf Touristen eingestellt und haben uns ohne jegliche persönliche Kommunikation abgesagt. Matteo hingegen war immer erreichbar, hat innerhalb kürzester Zeit auf alle Fragen geantwortet und uns ganz offen gesagt, dass noch ein paar Kleinigkeiten rund ums Haus fertig gemacht werden müssen (die aber nicht weiter gestört haben). Dafür hat er alles daran gesetzt, dass der Pool zu unserer Ankunft eingelassen ist und uns sogar bei der Suche nach Corona-Test Möglichkeiten unterstützt, so dass wir uns ab der ersten Kontaktaufnahme sofort gut aufgehoben gefühlt haben. Das Haus selbst ist wunderschön gelegen und bietet viel Platz für zwei Familien mit Kindern. Die Zimmer sind alle groß, verfügen über Klimaanlage und einen riesigen Flat-TV, über den man die gängigen Streaming-Dienste nutzen kann sowie jeweils ein eigenes Bad, die sicherlich mit das Highlight dieses wunderschönen Anwesens sind. Die Bäder sind alle frisch renoviert, verfügen über eine große Regendusche, Natursteinwaschbecken, Handtuchheizkörper, einen Fön und Badutensilien. Da man als Familie ohnehin immer mit viel Gepäck reist, ist es ein absoluter Vorteil, dass Handtücher (jeweils 3 Badhandtücher und 1 Poolhandtuch), ein Badvorleger sowie Bettwäsche gestellt werden. Die Küche bietet ebenfalls viel Platz; alles Nötige, vor allem ausreichend Geschirr und Gläser sind vorhanden. Der zweite Kühlschrank ist für 8 Personen Gold wert. Bei schönem Wetter kann man sein Essen unter dem großen Baum genießen, in dem die Außenbeleuchtung integriert ist. So stellt man sich Urlaub in der Toskana vor! Das Highlight unserer Kinder war natürlich der Pool. Der Poolbereich ist eingezäunt und mit ausreichend Liegestühlen ausgestattet, die neben dem mitgebrachten Poolspielzeug im angrenzenden Poolhaus verstaut werden können. Der Pool selbst ist so groß, dass man darin sogar richtig schwimmen kann. Jeden Morgen kümmert sich Guiseppe um den Garten und den Pool, ist dabei aber so diskret, dass man ihn kaum bemerkt. Die Gegend rund um die Villa ist wunderschön und dürfte für jeden Geschmack das Richtige bereithalten, egal ob man Mountainbiken, die umliegenden Städtchen erkunden (Cortona ist absolut zu empfehlen) oder im Lago Trasimeno baden möchte. Wir hatten einen rundum gelungenen Urlaub und würden jederzeit wieder zurück kommen!

Des vacances exceptionnelles dans un cadre idyllique. Une très belle maison. Un très beau parc. Une hôtesse charmante et très attentionnée. Des vacances au calme en tous points conformes aux photos.

We want to thank Vera and her family for warm hospitality. The house is very comfortable and the place is wonderful. We miss the swimming pool a lot ! ? The free wi-fi works inside and outside the house too, and we use it a lot cause the mobile phone doesn’t work there! We suggest to have a dinner in Cortona cause it’s so charming… we went in September 2012 (I couldn't insert the right period) and the weather was great! 25 degrees during the day and during the night the blanket were necessary cause there were 15/18 degrees! We went to visit a wine cellar (around 10kms from the house)...an amazing experience!! Especially during the harvest period! I hope to return one day, thanks again! Paul

For the second year I have returned with my family to Cà de Santi, 2 weeks in August 2012 and one in July 2013. We loved to enjoy the pool ,the beautiful park, the relaxing atmosphere..the gardens are very well kept and it looks like a painting. The house is very large, bedrooms and beds are enormous! The bathrooms are not very modern styled but they are nice as they are in a country house They gave us a remote control for the gate of the villa, but we did not use it that much! My husband and I needed to relax in a quiet place and we fully enjoyed Cà de Santi. For those who love art and nature we suggest to take the car and visit some of the magnificent places around that area. We drove to Gubbio, Assisi and also to Florence (it’s 1 and half hour drive, but you can easily do it in one day). We had been in Italy before, but this part of Tuscany is really wonderful! Mrs Vera has been so nice with us with a lot of surprises: we could taste the oil they produce, the products from their vegetable garden, ..one night she also prepared a fantastic cake for us!
