Was the perfect stay in Paris, the view was worth it - only wish I had more time to enjoy it!!

My hosts were very kind and welcoming - it was my first time staying in a room in someone's home - and it was fantastic. I immediately got the tour of the apartment and a welcome lemonade which was delicious and refreshing after my long travels there. They have been doing this for 10 years, and I could see that immediately. Had toiletries in the bathroom for me, lent me a hair dryer and had a little space for tea/coffee/water for me in the kitchen. I felt so comfortable and at home. Was much better than staying at an hotel. My trip was so brief though, was less than 24 hours there. And though I had brought some wonderful fruit with me for breakfast, they were so kind to offer me some wonderful walnuts, that they shelled from a walnut tree on some family land, I think?! Was so kind and Really enjoyed chatting with them and if I return, I would love to stay again for sure! Totally recommend. Super good people. Their home was spotless, loved how they decorated, and obviously have totally green thumbs, with two impressive fig trees, amongst many beautiful plants and flowers on the balconies. Really lovely, also learned about the neighborhoods history, and the restaurants looked great downstairs.

Very nice but you need to be aware about all.

Despite the cost, Jerome"s home is fantastic. Clean, shiny, beautiful. The home is fully shared with the owner. And if you know the meaning of sharing you can choose to go or not. In the booking phase this was not so clear. Jerome's lemonade was great.

There is in the facility just one toilet, one shower and one place where you can wash your hands. So if you want to have a shower at midnight, you can have it , but thinking that in the closest room there are the owner that are sleeping. If you go in Paris you go mainly for tourism and having a such kind of service can be a problem for the combination of time and actions. And finally the shower you are using is the same of the owner. Thinking at it I felt embarrassed. The room is clean, with nice view. There isn't any furniture, so you must leave your stuff in your luggage that, by the way, you cannot leave open because there is just a small table and one chair. My suggestion is to remove the table and by an Ikea cabinet that can allow guests to feel more comfortable

Peaceful seine🌱

If you want to see another view of the Seine, I definitely recommend it. In fact, I was a little embarrassed at first because I thought I was using the entire apartment, but I felt good to have Jerome who treated me so neatly and kindly. It's a very quiet night, but in the morning, you can enjoy a wonderful view without frowning in the sun, and you can have a morning full of clean walls and paintings without dust, and very delicious butter and jam. You can meet Jerome, who is very gentle, careful, calm, and warm, and there are big marts, restaurants, cafes, and toy stores below, so it's good to look around quietly! It was short, but I was glad to have a very peaceful time. I want to stay long next time. I sketched the living room for a while, but it was regrettable that the beautiful interior and the harmony of the scenery outside the window could not be captured in color. So I bought watercolor tools today!

Surprised to beyond satisfaction

Booked this place "by accident" due to proximity to my business destination before realizing that it was a guest room in a private apartment. Turned out to be an excellent choice. The owner ensured a very positive personal welcome and good-bye, but he stayed discreet and never became intrusive. The place is on a high floor with elevator, well secured, tastefully decorated, modern, exceptionally clean and well-equipped. A very good alternative to a hotel.

It is a big city, so there was some traffic noise, but clearly less than I had expected.

Jerome en Camille hebben ons erg gastvrij ontvangen en deden alle moeite om ons thuis te laten voelen. Het appartement is zeer mooi en de ligging is leuk, net buiten Parijs maar vlot bereikbaar met de metro of de fiets. Het terras is een groene oase.

Si nous avions voulu une salle de bain et des toilettes partagés, nous aurions choisi un Formule 1. Jerome, quoique sympathique, n'a pas jugé bon de nous prévenir avant le délais légal d'annulation que le logement était en fait une chambre dans un appartement partagé. La chambre ne ferme pas a clés. La sdb et les toilettes sont mutualisés. Une vraie déception et le sentiment de s'être fait arnarquer.

Ma compagne et moi avons adoré ce week-end, le petit dej était excellent, du frais et du fait maison. Nos hôtes étaient au petit soin. De bons conseils, accueillant et chaleureux. On s'est senti comme à la maison.
