Misty View, located in Winchcombe, is perfect for touring the Cotswolds. You’re in a small town that has shops and amenities but isn’t overrun with tourists. All the famous places, such as Stow-on-the-Wold and the Slaughters are a short drive away. Our hosts, Bob and Debbie, were wonderful—-even coming over to tell us good-bye.

This is just a great little place, and and is perfect for a Cotswold adventure. We have been here 3 times and simply can't recommend it highly enough. The location is perfect for restaurants and for lovely walks.

My husband, daughter & I had a great stay in this darling cottage! It was very clean, well appointed and in a great location to enjoy the area. We loved being able to walk to restaurants/pub, grocery, Sudeley Castle and even to catch a ride on the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway (highly recommend). The parking is just a short walk away, very inexpensive & safe location!

Excellent location, cosy cottage with all essentials supplied. Owner came to introduce himself and offered any assistance. Parking at nearly carpark satisfactory although a shame that you can't park outside property. Only omission re information was there was no apparent info or recycling facilities. Definitely would recommend and return. Thank you

Helpful host greeted us on arrival and helped orient us to amenities. Fully equipped kitchen and spacious, comfortable rooms. Convenient to walks, GWR steam railway and lots more. Town offered great choice of eateries and lots to see (Sudeley Castle & beautiful Old St Peter Parish church. Lots to see just strolling round town.

A well equipped and comfortable cottage, with 2 ensuite bedrooms making it equally suitable for friends or family. All the facilities needed for a break in this lovely part of the UK, as long as you have a car to get about. There is no parking at the property (it's a very narrow road) but a large car park is a couple of minutes walk away that only costs £1 a day. The High Street is close by with a good mix of independent shops and all the usual essentials. Communication with the friendly owners was straightforward, and the key safe access made check in simple. We'd be happy to stay again.

Check in was easy, with instructions provided by the owner well in advance. This two bedroom space has ensuite bedrooms upstairs with a mainlevel kitchen and separate lounging room. The main level water closet was a nice convenience. This rental was very clean, well organized, and equipped. Three restaurants were within a short walk, as well as a bakery.it is located on a quiet side lane. It was a nice location to explore the area. Thanks!

The cottage was so clean and extemely comfortable. Easpecially liked having the two en suite bathrooms. Stayed for a few days with my mum (81) and we were in an ideal location to visit Bourton on the Water, Sudeley Castle and other beautiful spots in the area. Hope to visit again x

This was the perfect cottage—cozy, comfortable, conveniently located, and very tidy. We wish we could have stayed longer. A note about restaurants in Winchcombe and surrounding towns: be sure to book a table in advance for evening meals. We got lucky on our first night and found a restaurant that could accommodate us, but most were already booked or weren’t offering food service. Just a heads up!

Misty View is very well equipped and spacious, with both bedrooms having en-suites. The location is great, as so close to town centre, which is beautiful and larger than expected. The owners were very friendly and helpful with recommendations to ensure we had a lovely stay. We enjoyed suggested local walks and meals at recommended restaurants/pubs. This was our second stay at Misty View, and we'll go back next year - if it's still being let. That tells you all you need to know! The location is perfect, In relation to the town and restaurants. It's a great base for exploring the Cotswolds, you can walk to Sudeley Castle.The cottage is very homely and has absolutely everything you could need. The two bedrooms with a bathroom each really works for 2 friends. There's nothing we can add for improvement tips. Thank you, we love your cottage - see you in May next year!

Lovely property in the heart of Winchcombe. A real bonus to have 2 ensuite bathrooms. Parking is 50 yds away. Has everything you need including wood for the fire, salt, pepper and oil, dishwasher tablets, etc. Highly recommended.

From the easy check in, to the contact of host to ask anything this was a joyous stay. Property exactly as pictures but even cosier. Lovely log burner but unfortunately didn’t use as very mild Xmas. Kitchen has everything you may need as utensils tea towels cloths etc. Would recommend to anyone. High st turn left 30 seconds and your there. Pub to recommend The lion inn, left onto high st then turn next left, a little up on the right.
