Lovely and peaceful getaway

We are thank full to Booking.com and host of the property who made our stay so comfortable. The Host was kind by arranging water, tea, coffee milk juices and chocolates for us. we appreciate the kind gesture. TV channels and Netflex was working full time so as the internet. We really enjoyed our stay at Primrose Cottage — it was a lovely and peaceful getaway.

However, we did notice that there were no Muslim prayer mats provided. If a prayer mat had been available, it would have made our stay even more comfortable and inclusive. We hope this can be considered for future guests.

Super Cottage in a great location.

Lovely cottage in very good condition in the centre of Winchcombe. Nice outside patio with table and chairs to enjoy the good weather we had. Lots of great walks from the door.

Comfortable for my needs

Unfortunately being right in centre of village, the road is a main thoroughfare consequently traffic noise was quite loud at times. Double glazing would help. Parking a hassle, had to car shuffle quite a bit.

New Year Getaway 2024

The location was great, very close to shops, pubs and restaurants. Unable to park near the cottage but we found a car park within a 5 minute walk, that only cost £1 per day 😀 The Cottage was very clean and comfortable, as a group of 6 adults it was just about the right size for all of us. Overall we would recommend to friends and family 😀

the only draw back was the very steep stairs up to the 3rd floor and the low sloping ceiling in the back bedroom.

Magical, comfortable place to stay in the heart of Winchcombe.

Winchcombe is hiker heaven at the junction of the Wardens Way, the Winchcombe way, the Cotswold Way and more! This sweet little apartment is right in the thick of downtown, with great pubs and bakeries (North bakery! Yum!), cute shops all around, and lovely neighbors. Everything was immaculately clean, serenely decorated, nice sheets, comfy beds, lovely new kitchen and sweet little garden patio out back to enjoy your cup of coffee or dinner alfresco.

No designated parking space, and nothing they can do about it!! You can park on the street overnight and by the hour in the day if you can find a spot and parallel park there quickly amidst the constant stream of cars. The short stay car park is right behind the White Lion pub, but it is quite tight in there. We found it easiest to park in the long stay, down another block and back a few blocks (follow the blue parking signs). Costs 1 pound per day and the machine wasn’t taking cards at the time so we had to have change.

Lovely cottage with everything you needed n very clean. Lovely little garden with table n chairs. Location perfect in a pretty Saxon town, with lots of history

The only thing is, it sleeps 6 but in the front room there wouldn’t be enough room or space on the settee etc

perfect position in beautifull town. Very cozy and clean appartement. grocery and post office right across the street. Definitely recommended!

Beautiful house in a village near Cheltenham races.

The beds were so comfy and really good quality pillows and bedding. The house was decorated lovely. Shower was very good. Location was fab. Beautiful town near to Cheltenham where we attended the races. Check in was easy.

The sofa and chairs in the lounge weren't that comfy and not suitable for long stays. No blind on the velux window in the bedroom meant that I couldn't take advantage of a child-free lie in!

Everything was perfect, we will definitely be back.

The only little bit of slightly negative feedback we have, would be the lack of blinds on the skylights in the bedrooms. 6am wake up calls when the sunrises aren’t ideal, and will only get worse as summer approaches.
